{Rae's POV}
I walk through the forest following a small dirt road, it's raining but only lightly. When I was younger I was very caring and kind but I've changed for the better. I'm currently on my way to the Demon Slayer Corps, as a few days ago I received a letter from Kagaya Ubuyashiki, requesting that I meet with him. As of right now im probably a days walk away from there, but I'm in no rush, if I were to go full speed I would be there in 5 hours. I see no need to rush and besides I love nature and it's pretty relaxing taking a nice walk out here.

But unfortunately for them, I have very quick senses & reflexes so I just merely turned and sliced their head off. I look down at the head still no emotion showing from my face, after watching the demon turn into ashes I continue my walk. I show no mercy when it comes to demons

I have now arrived at the Demon Slayer Corps, I slowly walk in as this is my first time being here, I then see a crow flying my way, I hold out my right arm so it can land, but it didn't come down its was just circling me but then it said or should I say shouted "Follow me to master Ubuyashiki" then it started flying north so I followed, after walking for another 5 minutes I now stand in front of a building, but I wait. Then I see two girls come out of the sliding door, they were twins, "Please come inside Miss Rae, the Master has been awaiting you're arrival." says the girl with short Black hair. I enter the house only to see Master Ubuyashiki sitting at a small table with 2 cups of hot tea waiting
"Welcome Rae, please have a seat," he says. I sat down on a small cushion, it was surprisingly very comfortable. "Now Rae I have heard many great things about you, and with you sitting right across from me I can tell you are very strong," he says, "ahh thank you, but why exactly am I here," I ask
"Well, I am proposing a promotion if you will," he says while I look at him kinda confused on what he means " would you consider moving from rank Kinoe to Hashira" he suggests " Why would you suggest that," I ask, "Well Rae, you are very talented and I believe your style of breath is very unique in fact I have only heard about 1 other swordsman that used that breath and to my understanding that person is your sensei," says Ubuyashiki
" i-i well, I accept you're offering but Master with all due respect, I'm only twelve," I say "I am aware of you're age Rae and that will make you the youngest Hashira in Demon Slayer History," he says in a comforting way, "I thank you master Ubuyashiki. I get up to leave but before I exit the door "I will introduce you to the other Hashiras tomorrow". I bow and exit the building, I walk around a little, exploring the facility, its quiet beautiful here and it's very peaceful, as I was walking around I looked to see a small pond with some blossom trees surrounding it, I sit on a small bench and enjoy the scenery, but as I was looking around I saw a certain flower, fear came over my body, I was shaking I was scared, all of my memories I had when I was a child flashed before my eyes

blood,screams,horror,fear,sinister,scarred. All these things came to mind, I can feel my breath becoming heaving I'm hyperventilating my whole body shaking with fear, all of a sudden I'm in front of my home, I stand frozen in my place, "Rae come help me prepare dinner" i hear a women but wait I know that voice, Mother?, "RAE", I hear it again, this time I run to the front of the house, I hesitantly open the front door, "Honey, now that you're here can you go get me 3 tomatoes in the garden, please" she says "oh sure" I run to where the garden would be, once I get there I pick 3 tomatoes but before I went back to the house a very pretty flower caught my eye, it was pink with many petals surrounding it but it felt special so I picked it, I immeditaley thought of my mother, she would love this, with that I left, "Mother Im back" I yell but not too loud, but I get no answer, so I walk to the kitchen, "mother?" *gasp* I see my mother in a pool of blood her clothes shredded deep cuts all over her body, "MOTHER" I drop everything and immediately check for a pulse, no pulse, I shake her extremely wounded body praying she would wake up."No PLEASE", but then it hit me, "AIKO, SARA, YUI" I yell remembering my younger sisters were out the back before I left. when I get there, all I saw was blood but when I walked closer I saw their bodies but their heads were decapitated from their body. "NOO!" I scream at the top of my lungs, then I heard something running behind me I turn to draw my sword but my sword immediately turned to dust and before I knew it I was tackled to the ground by a demon, this demon felt familiar, I could barely even see as tears were going down my face like a waterfall, Then the demon went to bite me but before it did, everything went black.
