"Well, that was interesting"

Percy's POV

While he was falling he angled him self down towards the falling pair (A/N manticore x zoe, manzoe, I ship it. lol) and summoned a hunting knife from the shadows. When he was within reach of the manticore he grabbed on to the beast neck and drove his hunting knife into the skull of the manticore. The manticore stiffened for a second before it burst in to golden dust. He managed to grab the girl bridal style before he shadow traveled using the shadows a the base of the cliff.

Artemis POV

She had watched shocked as her lieutenant and friend was pulled off the cliff. Then her eyes widened as she watched the boy who had come out of the woods throw him self off the cliff. "stupid boy, he's only joining her in death" she thought before turning to address the demi-gods trying to keep the tears out of her eyes as she thought about her lieutenant. The young demi-gods she was here for both strangely had tears in their eyes. Then she remembered they had ran to the boys side when he first appeared. She noticed that they were well trained. She decided to offer the girl a place in the hunt. (Big surprise! *eye roll*) As she was about to start talking, she nearly jumped back in shock when shadows started to form in front of her. When they stopped the shadows spit out the boy from earlier with her hunter in his arms. He quickly set Zoe on her feet before bowing to her. "Lady Artemis" he said while bowing. She drew a hunting knife and put it to his throat. "who are you" she hissed at him. "Percy Jackson, son of Hades, lord of hell hounds, prince of the under world" he replied in a cold voice. Right  when I was about to ask him more, a figure wearing pure gold armour appeared out of no where and shot a ball of fire at Zoe ( today is not Zoe's day is it) I knew I would never be able to reach her in time to save her, but the boy disappeared in to the shadows and reappeared in front of Zoe and held her behind him. Then he reached out his hands and created a wall of shadows in front of them. When the blast dissipated he let released the shadow wall and fell to his knee. He said "well that was fun" before he collapsed unconscious. I went to move forward to wake him up but out of the darkness shot the thee furies. Instead of attacking us they simply grabbed the the two new demi-gods and Perseus before disappearing. "well, that was interesting" I commented dryly.

New chapter is up, sorry for the long wait, next chapter they will go to camp half-blood. The votes are still up, will annabeth be a biatch or not and will percy forgive Poseidon. Also I would like to apologize if my writing skills are not as good as before and also for slow updates, I have been really stressed in school and do not get much time to write, please like and comment -Randomgod2
