Finding Love - Something Unexpected

Chapter 1

Emma's POV
As I walked in to school in my white floral crop top, black shorts and vans I saw Brad and our group sitting at one of the tables. "Hey guys what's up?" I asked curious to what they were talking about. "Nothing really. We were just talking about who was asking who to the dance." Said Ashley my closest friend. I got a little suspicious but I decided to ignore it.

Brad's POV
As soon as the group split up and went to their classes I caught up with Emma and asked her if she wanted to hangout at my place later and watch a movie. Of course she yes since we have been friends since we were 12.

"Is the rest of the group coming too?" She asked. "No Ashley and the others are going shopping then hanging out with the guys. I thought since we haven't spent much time together for a while it could be just us." I told her. "Okay I'll meet you there after school. See you soon!"

Later that night

Emma's POV
I love going over to Brad's house and hanging out with him. When I got to his house he met me at the door and we went inside. "Movie or video game?" I asked.

"How about a movie since we haven't done that in a long time" he replied. We walked over to the family room where the huge flat screen tv was. We soon decided to what to watch and make it like old times. I grabbed some pillows off the couch and Brad got some ballets from up stairs.

Brad's POV
As we were watching the movie on the floor cuddled under the blankets, I moved closer to Emma. She looked at me confused but let it go. I move even closer and then wrapped my arm around her. She looked at me and was about to say something but then I leaned in and kissed her. At first she didn't kiss back but then she did.

Emma's POV
I kissed Brad back but I broke away before it started to get heated. "Brad why did you do that?" I asked confused. He didn't respond he just kissed my lips again and started to kiss my neck. I didn't know what to do but I liked it for some reason. Am I getting feelings for him?

No I can't be! We are just friends. Thank goodness Ben, Brad's roommate came in and interrupted us. "What's going on here?" He said with a smirk.

Brad's POV
Why did Ben have to walk in? But before I could think about anything else I felt Emma pull out of my grip and stand up. "Sorry Brad. It's getting late and my dad will be mad if I'm not home soon." She said.

I got up too and walked her to the door. "Bye Emma I'll see you tomorrow at school." I said as I was closing the door.

"What was all that about?" Asked Ben. "I guess I just really like her and thought of i kissed her.... Just forget about it." I told him. "Don't worry dude. I won't say anything." He replied.
