(2) Ashamed

"San.. I'm busy, you know that.." Wooyoung spoke softly into the phone. San whined loudly.

He couldn't say anything, Wooyoung was right. He is busy, and he didn't choose to be busy. It's not his fault that he can't spend time with San.

"I'll go to your place when I have my free time okay baby?" Wooyoung spoke again, re-assuring his boyfriend who only sighed.

"Okay.." Wooyoung smiled, the elder's voice sounded cute.

"Once again, I'm sorry. Have a great day" San only smiled slightly even though he knows Wooyoung can't see him right now.

There's a reason on why he's being needy. And he can't stand it anymore.

He looked at the mirror, seeing his eyes which was now darker than their usual colour. The usual colour of dark brown have changed into a dark grey-ish colour.

His blonde hair was now showing it's threads of red hair.

He gulped. He felt his pants tighten. He can't tell Wooyoung, he's too ashamed. He really needs him right now, but he's busy.

San sighed roughly, throwing himself on his bed.

Wooyoung walked out of the grocery store. For some reason, his trainer wanted him to get some snacks from the store. Weird.

His trainer is nice but he gets really strict sometimes.

Wooyoung smiled, looking at the bag full of snacks that he liked. He suddenly heard a loud beep and a crack.

He looked towards the direction of the sound. He gasped, one hand closing his mouth.

The body of a cat layed there on the road. The car which hit him has driven away.

Wooyoung slowly walked towards the cat. He suddenly remembered the picture of San's dead body back in the forest. He shivered.

The cat was dead. Wooyoung gulped.

He felt like crying, the image of San in that state is unbearable. A tear fell onto the lifeless cat.

He emptied the plastic bag, letting his snacks fall onto the ground. He wanted to pick the cat up so that he could hahe a proper bariel.

But suddenly his head felt light and his eyes felt heavy. Then everything suddenly went black.

Wooyoung woke up with a stinging headache. What happened?

"Sir, he's awake" He heard a voice of a woman say. Before he knew it, doctors came in the room. They were checking his temperature, his heartbeat. Wooyoung was beyond confused.

What was he doing here?

The doctors look at eachother and nod, sending some kind of signal to eachother.

They left some time later, his trainer entering the room.

"Good morning, kid"

"What happened to me?" Wooyoung asked, sitting up straight.

"Do you know this cat?" His trainer placed a cat on Wooyoung's lap. It was the cat.

The cat that was dead, but now it was licking it's hand.

Wooyoung blinked a couple of times. "Where'd you get this cat?" Wooyoung asked Mr Kim with wide eyes.

"Why do you ask?"

"It was dead, it was ran over by a car" Wooyoung answered, he had a weird feeling in his stomach. Mr Kim's eyes widened.

"Holy-" The adult ran out of the room, leaving Wooyoung with the cat.

Wooyoung looked around the room.

Where are his mom and dad? He's in a hospital yet his mom and father aren't even here. He heard a knock from the door.

"Come in" Wooyoung spoke loudly.

"Hey Wooyoung" Soobin smiled, his eyes disappearing as his dimples showed.

"Hey Soobs" Wooyoung answered, he stood up from the hospital bed before almost falling splat on the floor.

His legs were so weak, Soobin helped him stand, his legs were wobbling. He then felt it, his arms felt so weak, the stinging pain in his head was getting better though.

"Where's San?" Wooyoung asked his dear cousin. San would be here right now.

"I don't think he knew you were here" Soobin answered, passing Wooyoung his clothes.

"Change out of those hospital gown" The taller said, pointing at a door which mostlikely was the bathroom.

Wooyoung did as said, walking towards the bathroom before stopping right infront of the door.

"How long have I been here?" He asked, looking back at Soobin.

"3 days I think" He answered, shrugging. Wooyoung blinked.

3 days? What happened?
