Passing by me, I couldn't help but notice the scent of him being very different from others. He barely spared me a glance, making a beeline towards Naruto, everyone's bestfriend. A light blush appeared on my cheeks.
I'm no different from others.
I saw that he turned his head to one of the girls whispering about him. He was looking at her, Karin. I sighed.
"Hey, Ino."
Ino, my bestfriend since I can't remember, stopped brushing her hair and tilted her head. Dang she was so pretty. I'm not lesbian or bi but can't kami-sama make me as beautiful as my bestfriend?
"What is it Forehead?"
"I'm not pretty enough aren't I?" I looked down towards my shoes. I never had confidence in my appearance. I mean I don't think I look bad but I don't look very pretty either. Average, as you would call it.
But him, Sasuke Uchiha, you couldn't just say he looked average. He looked like he was a child of a Greek god, hot and smart, and topping it off, he had an antisocial attitude.
It looked cool, yes, but I just didn't like him just for those reasons. He looked like he needed someone, someone who could fill his quietness. I wanted to change that. He looked like darkness, and I wanted to be the light.
Too bad that ain't happening at all. It could only happen in my wildest dreams.
"Um, if you mean by having cute pink natural hair, green eyes which are rare might I add, and a really great body, if that's what you mean by aren't pretty enough, then yeah," Ino rolled her eyes and closed her locker.
Her blue eyes drifted to the charcoaled hair boy who seemed to be ignoring Naruto's bantering, "You wanna impress him?"
My head immediately shot up to her. Was there even a way? "That's impossible," I retorted and frowned. I wanted to, but it was a one in a million probabality he would even acknowledge me.
"It's because of those old t-shirts you're wearing. Seriously, a bright orange shirt that says 'Camp Half-Blood?'" Ino pointed a finger at what I'm wearing.
What was wrong with it? I looked down to my shirt, it looked good and it was a tribute to my all time favorite book series.
"I mean Ino, they said he liked girls with long hair," I played with a strand of my hair that reached my waist, "nothing from him. I'm the sceond smartest in his class. Still nothing."
Damn I'm officially hopeless.
"Nope! As your most fabulous friend, I will be Cupid!" Ino declared until she added, "girl version."
I giggled at her and let her drag me to wherever she took me.

"Yo teme, is Mikoto-san coming to Famiy Day?" Naruto asked me. More like screamed at me.
"Yes. Even otou-san and aniki."
He grinned so wide that his mouth might have tear apart, "Your while family coming eh? That's good!"
I looked away from him, looking at her. She was talking with a blonde, like I was, and she seemed down in the dumps.
Did I just use that metaphor?
All I could hear from my distance was, "pink," and, "body."
Huh? What were they even talking about?
Sakura Haruno was one of the smartest students in this school. I commend her for that since she was one of the only two girls, her and the Hyuuga girl.
Of course, her most noticable feature was her long pink hair. Up to this day, some still questiones whether it was natural or dyed, but I couldn't care less. It looked good on her anyway so I didn't question it.
"Oi are ya listening?!" Naruto slapped his arm on my shoulder which made me glare at him coldly.
"What the hell dobe?" I asked him. Can't this guy read people? I obviously looked uninterested in his conversation but he still forced me to stay in it. What an idiot.
He looked at the direction my eyes were earlier and had a stupid grin forming on his face. "You like Sakura-chan!"
I flinched but before I could explain myself, he pointed a finger at me, "You flinched! I saw that! You have a crush on her! You like he–"
I hooked my right arm around his neck, strangling him, and covering his loudmouth with my other.
It was disgusting but this idiot had to just shout it out loud to the entire school. My skin was decorated with bits of saliva when Naruto escaped from my clutch. Ew.
I wiped my hand on his shirt to which he frowned and he stuck his tounge out on me.
"Whatever teme. You better talk to her because she thinks you don't even know her name."
Wait what? Does she?
I frowned at that. She thinks I don't know her? Ridiculous.
"How do you know she feels that way?"
************************************
"Sakura-chan and I hang out sometimes, ya know! She 'admires' you because you get good grades," Naruto used the air quotes when he said admires. He knew that Sakura likes Sasuke and she feels invisible. Period.
"Well, you gotta do something about that teme!"
Sasuke gave Naruto one of his infamous smirks and for once, he agreed with the dobe.
