Part 1

Henry puked in front of Richies feet, while Belsh and Patrick just stood next to them, laughing. „Now you two just piss off! I hope, I made myself clear!" Richie helped Eddie on his feet and left with him without another word, what was quite unusuale for him. Henry just made a derogatory remark, then turning around to his clique again. „Next time I am gonna punch them to the ground."

Verena turned her head to me. „You are really sure, this is the right thing for you? It is a big house in a little town. A little town. You know you do hate little towns. We could be in Hamburg right now."  „Yeah, that's right. And I'm really grateful that you joined me."  "Well, I have to look after you, now, you finally have a publishing company." "Little towns, by the way, seem to come after me like the famous bad luck. I hardly made it as an author, and the next town seems to welcome me."  „Well, my dear miss writer, at leat this house is furnished comfortably and besides that it is only for one year. We're gonna visit you very often, of course and don't forget you wanted to write one novel out of germany, right?"  „Mr. Professor, you are completly right. That's what I said. And although I did not think of Derry when I told so, it is only for one year. It is not gonna be that bad." With these words I stopped the engine, we got out of the car together and stepped to the men with the moving boxes. They were just carrying them inside. Verena and me stepped on the veranda and looked around.

„Wow, you got ivy around the house! That's so beautiful! I find it really great..." „Yeah. And I think this area is really lovely. We can sit here and enjoy the lukewarm summer nights. There's even a hollywood swing!" We went into the house together. This was very strange to me, I was only used flats so far. This house was so huge. I looked around the corner and discovered the kitchen which was in landhouse style. „Oh my goodness. Look at the kitchen. It is all so big and...unfamiliar." „Well, it's got a beautiful color, isn't it? It's an american kitchen. Well, it wasn't the right thing for me either..." I smirked at her. „You are unable to cook." „Right. But, it's okay, one year free living here for you working in the highschool library. This wasn't something for me, too, as I hate children. But you are much more tolerant about that." I laughed sarcastically. „Those children are in fact older." „But they are still children!"

Four days later I had unpacked most of my stuff and I set myself up more or less. The house still seemed much to big to me, downstairs was the hall, the kitchen and the living room, upstairs the bathroom, bedroom and a guest room. Every time, I wanted to eat something, I had to go downstairs, when I need to wash my hands I had to go upstairs again. This was on my nerves, but the town of derry invited me to write my next novel here and for this I should work in the high school library two times a week. It was a quite good thing actually. I could not even suspect what kind of trouble was already gonna hit me the first day. I had my hear in a short bob, wore a dark blue h&m basic shirt an black trousers. Adittionally I wore some makeup. When I arrived at school in my car together with Verena, trouble just began. It was just before eight o clock and the street was filled with school buses, children and parents, who brought their children. Verena next to me stiffened up, when she looked through the front window. „I hate children. Just look at them! They are so annoying!!" „Just relax, I only need to find a parking space." „You'll never make it. The street is completly filled. Wait, there-!", she added, when I wanted to turn around. „Over there is one left, hurry." We got closer in an appropriate speed, as children were running around everywhere and I didn'twant to hit one of them, till we arrived at the parking space." „Go on, hurry, we could have reached the aim a million years ago!!", Verena aped one of our old working collegues, which always made me grin. Then the suprise. The parking space was not that free. Well, in fact it was blocked by another car, a trans a.m with the roof half open. The car was parked so silly, that I didn't make it to fit in. „Great, congratulations...", I mumbled. „Well, how silly can someone park this car? They do need two parking spaces!" On the roof four guys were sitting, maybe 17 or 18, which mobbed children, which crossed their way. „Great." I sighed and opened my window. „Sorry, could you please drive apart a littl bit, so I can park my car here too?" First I got stunned looks then they started to laugh aloud. „O my good", I said to myself, while Verena was looking at those guys, pissed off, too. „We got the elite here", she added. One of them even almost swallowed his bagel and put his hand infront of his mouth, while another one  got up and naughtily leaned on my window. He got very blond hair and blue eyes: „Sorry lady, here it is who comes first, eats first. If you can wait another five minutes, then there will be free space. Or you just take the bus tomorrow." Laughter from all sides. Verena next to me just rolled her eyes and sighed. I more get the feeling it is who is dumb first, comes first", I replied while I looked at the guys. "And don't touch my car, please." He stepped back. One of them had longer, curly black hair and blue eyes, the third guy had short brown hair and was build a little bit stronger as the others. The last of them had hair to his shoulders which were dark blond and blue eyes. As I just shook my head and a bus behind me started honking, he got up and came next to his buddy. „Victor, just let them be. Drive back a little bit, just let us see if she can park in backward. Or she will just hit your trans." I smirked annoyed and shot back: "Well, maybe I will. I'm not sure wether I can park in. Do you want me to crash into your car?" Now the third of them jumped up. "Hey lady, this is my car, don't even think of it!" "Then you drive it back a little bit! I can afford some repair, what about you?" He gave me a nervous look. "Thought so."
