--8:00 PM, Central Station--

"Detective Dodge?" "Yes, make it quick please I'm about to head home." "Uh...There's someone here to see you." Jack looked up and nodded and continued getting ready to leave. "Mr. Dodge?" Said a quiet cool voice. There was Akane Okada, In a dress, with her crimson red hair in a single braid over her shoulder. Jack was entranced, "A-Akane...It's quite late, you should be home." "Well I was missing a certain something" Akane replied. She then placed her hand on Jack's cheek and leaned in. "I missed this cute face" "E-eh?! Ms. Okada I must insist that you go home, I c-can call you a cab maybe?" "Always the Gentleman, Jack..." Jack blushed, He found it flattering to be called his first name by Akane. Jack tried to back away only to bump into his desk and turn on his radio that began playing 'It's Been a Long Long Time' By Harry James. "Ms. Okada please...if this isn't case related I must-" Akane placed her finger on his lips, "Shhhhh, No more talky" Akane whispered with a giggle and wrapped her arms around his neck. "A-Akane...." Jack whispered. Their faces were mere inches apart, "Uh...I have to tell you something" Jack whispered, It was now or never. "You love me?" Akane whispered back, "Because I do too, my lil detective" Jack was caught off guard and then they connected. Jack has never kissed a girl but it was amazing. They finally separated, "I love you..." Whispered Jack, "I love you more" Akane responded. They stood there in each other's arms, with the music in the back... 'Never thought that you would be standing here so close to me there's so much I feel that I should say but words can wait until some other day...'
