I'm Only Human. { Chisaki and Tsumugu }

Ofunehiki Preparations

"With everyone?" Tsumugu questioned. "Yes, everyone." Replayed Chisaki. "Well," Tsumugu started, "Everyone would be at the Ofunehiki preparation site." Calmly said Tsumugu. Chisaki smiled at Tsumugu, then kissed him on the forehead goodnight. As Chisaki reached the foot of the stairs, she said, "We'll go there tomorrow then."

The next day, Chisaki and Tsumugu were already at the preparation site, making the Lady Ojoshi. "We won't be needing this after all..." Chisaki thought and smiled with a yearn to scream. "Chii chan!!!" Chisaki could hear Manaka calling her from afar. Manaka was waving her hands up in the air as Hikari and Miuna were following behind her.

A few minutes later...

"Everything else is done." Yelled Tsumugu's grandpa. "The adults would stay here for now. Kids, go back home. Chisaki and Tsumugu... I guess you can stay." As grandpa said this, Miuna and Manaka had a pouty look on their face. "I wanna stay with Chii chan!! I wanna have fun with Chii chan only!!" Then, Chisaki glanced at Tsumugu and Tsumugu gave her a nod. "You can have dinner at our place." Suggested Chisaki.

Miuna grew wide eyed and tugged Hikari's sleeve. "Please, can we go, Hikari?" Hikari grunted and then nodded. 

A couple minutes later, they were all at Tsumugu and Chisaki's house. "Thank you for the meal!" They all said in unison. As they all ate sushi and ramen, Tsumugu bolted out a conversation. "So," he started. "I plan on making engagement plans with Chisaki. We are now old enough." Tsumugu said blankly. While he was saying this, Chisaki turned bright red and at 2x as faster as she was. 

"Engagement? You wanna marry Chisaki?" Asked Kaname. Of course, Kaname and Sayu were there too. "Yeah I'm concerned too." Blurted out Hikari. "No need to be concerned. I'm sure Chisaki would be ok with this." Answered Tsumugu. "Right Chisaki?" Suddenly, all eyes were on her. Chisaki then knew she had to say something. She knew she would have to be the sacrifice, so even if she did marry Tsumugu, the opportunity to grow a family with him would be ruined. Chisaki wanted to spend her life with Tsumugu. But she couldn't. But she still said, "Yes. I agree to this."

The next day...

Everyone was on the beach shore for Ofunehiki. The girls were wearing their kimonos, and the boys were wearing their Ofunehiki clothes. All except Tsumugu. He had gotten a cough the day before and would be cold in the Ofunehiki clothes, so Chisaki made him wear a traditional men's kimono instead.

"Now," Chisaki thought. "This is when I go."
