How it began

(Toko's POV)

It was a dark and stormy night and I was running from one of my abusive mothers'. "Get back here!" I hear her yell at me. "I need to get to Komaru's house" I say to myself. After a while of running I trip over a rock and fall hurting my leg "This is it I'm dead" I say to myself.

(??? POV)

As I was walking around town I see my friend Toko, but she had bruises all over body and she looked scared, so without a second thought I run to her and then I see one of her abusive mothers'. So I get in front of Toko to protect her I even use my fire wings to make me look like a bigger threat. Then I look at her mother with a look that says I'm going to kill you and tell her to leave Toko alone and that she has ten seconds to run. This scared her and made her run off. Then I turn to Toko and pick her up I even used my wings to shield her from the rain and I start to run to Komaru's house. When I stopped running to get some air I hear Toko ask me "Foxmaster why did you save me?"(Foxmaster is my OC's name)"Because I love to protect my friends." I tell her with a comforting smile while I start running again. After a while we make it to Komaru's house and I knock at her door. Komaru answered the door and says "Foxmaster? Why are you at my door?" she asked me with her tired eyes. "Well I was wondering if you could take care of this one." I say while still shielding Toko from the rain but showing her to Komaru. Once Komaru saw Toko she told me to put Toko on the couch and get the first aid kit from the cabinet.

(Komaru's POV)

After Foxmaster came back with the first aid kit he helped me tend to Toko's wounds. Then he turned to me and said "Why do you give her a nickname, but not me? he says with a smile, so I turn to him and say "Fine your nickname is Foxy" I say with a smile. Then he asked " Hey Komaru can this one stay here?" he asked while pointing at Toko I blush at the thought of Toko living with me, but then I say "Yeah she can stay with me." I say this while blushing. Then he turns to Toko who is also blushing, but she is trying to hide it and says "Hear that Toki you get to live with Komaru." he says while looking at Toko. Toko who just sat up looking mad, but still blushing she turns to Foxmaster and says "Don't call me Toki." she says while looking at Foxmaster. Foxmaster responded with "First I am not going to stop calling you Toki second aren't you happy to live with Komaru because your body is saying no, but your face is saying YES." he says all this with a smile. I turn to Toko who is blushing harder than she was before, so I turn to Foxmaster and say "Foxy say sorry." I say this kind of mad, but then I turn to Toko and she turn to Foxmaster and says "S-so are y-you going t-t-to say s-sorry huh F-F-Foxy" she says while smiling.

(Toko's POV)

I stare at Foxmaster waiting for a response, but then out of no where he starts to laugh and says "Is that your best comeback" he says with a smile. Then he walks out of the house and he tells Omaru and I that he'll be back in a bit. Once he leaves me and Omaru realized that he left us alone, so Omaru stood up and sat down right next to me. So I put my head on her shoulder and we stayed like that and waited for Foxmaster to come back. After one hour he finally comes back with all of my stuff, so I stared at him and said "It took you forever to get back." I said kind of mad. He looks at me and says "I was only gone for one hour." he says looking at me with his eyes closed. I looked at the time to see that it was 1:30 AM and then I turn to Omaru who is barely awake. So I told Omaru that we should probably head to bed and she said "Yeah let's head to bed."

(Foxmaster's POV)

So I had to help both Toko and Komaru to bed. So as payback I put them in the same bed and as a bonus I put all of Toko's things in Komaru's room where they were sleeping. I even move Toko's writing desk into Komaru's room. After I was done with all that I turned into my fox form (which is just a red fox) and jump on the bed and started to get comfortable then I fell asleep.
