Kierra
I sit in my new apartment, alone, unpacking boxes. I have my hair tied in a lazy bun, sweat pants, and a tank top. I really wasn't expecting company, therefore not trying to impress anyone. That's why, as I am sure you can imagine, I was startled when a hard unpleasant knock rings through my apartment.
I approach the door catiously, standing on the very tips of my toes to catch a glimpse of what appeared to be an angry nieghbor. I wasn't going to lie to myself, he was attractive, but intimidating at the same time. I open the door in a crack, poking my head out.
"Hi," I bite my lip as I take in the tall broad frame. "I'm.." he holds his hand up, cutting me off. I immediately dislike this man. An attractive appearance means nothing with an ugly personality.
"You need to keep it down," he snaps rather rudely. I am quiet taken back, it takes me a minute to gather my thoughts. Finally I open the door all the way glaring harshly.
"Excuse me?" My high pithched voice rings throught my aprtment as I cross my arms over my chest and jut my hip out.
"You heard me," he answers smirking smugly, fueling my anger. All these words start flooding my head, but I bite my tongue.
"Quite the first impression," I scoff instead, placing a hand on my hip.
"Keep it down and we'll get along fine," he bends down condesendingly. I feel the need to slap him right here right now. But I don't.
"I was just movin' my things in, Its not even," I pause, to pull out my phone, and check the time. "8 o'clock for gods sake," I try to argue, but the only response I recieve is the sound of the door acroos the hall, slamming.
I slam my door, harder, hoping he heard it. I feel slightly bad for the other nieghbors at this point. I shake my head pacing the floor, still steaming from the prior arguement.
I storm into my room. I angrily check the time, 8:37. That makes it 3:37 back home, he just got off work. I smile and start the skype call.
"Kierra? Is everything alright?" Just hearing his voice calms me down, but I still want to tell him what happened, I shake my head slowly, chewing on my bottom lip.
"My nieghbor is the epitome of an asshole." I shout, rubbing my temples.
"It can't be that bad princess," he tries to comfort me, somewhat successfully.
"But it is," I counter, "he came over here all manly, and egotastical, and told me I was being to loud. First of all, how dare he, I was just movin my shit into this crappy apartment that I didn't even want in the first place, then he slams the door in my face. I should have stayed with you." I break down in tears. I didn't want Niall to see me like this but it was to late.
"This is the best thing for you darlin'," he flashes me his heart stopping smile, and I die a little inside. I calm myself down, drying my tears.
"I just can't wait to get out of here," I say, my voice horse from crying, I sigh.
"Its your first day babe, give it some time," I nod along, he's right. I look at him with complete adoration.
"How'd I get so lucky?" I ask him, batting my eyelashes.
"What do ya mean?" He asks innocently, cocking his head.
"How'd I catch a guy like you?" I smile sheepishly looking at my hands in my lap.
"You didn't even have to try babe. I was a goner since day one," he winks, making my stomache do all sorts of flops.
"I love you so much," I tell him 100% truthfully.
"I love you more Kierra," I shake my head mumbling 'impossible'.
"Well you have your first day of school tommarrow.." He reminds me. I groan at the sweet reminder. "Goodnight Kierra," he seethes.
"Night Niall," I whisper as I close my laptop.
I sigh crawling under my blankets. My mind wanders as I fall asleep but the rude nieghbor with curly hair and green eyes always seems to be there.
