Chapter 8

KRYSTAL POV

After getting out of the hospital the doctors said I was perfectly fine but I needed to put on some kind of lotion on my eye daily. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I can't go to school like this. I guess I'll see if they'll let me wear sunglasses. I bet they won't. I put some lotion in my hand and rubbed it on my eye. It hurt when I touched it so it took me like an hour to put it on.

*School*

I walked in school wearing a white tank top with a light yellow sweater that said 'cool' on it and black tights, black converse and put my hair up in a messy bun. And of course some sunglasses to cover up my eye. I walked in my first class and sat in my chair. "Miss Dallas, you know you are not supposed to be wearing sunglasses in class. Please take them off," she says.

I took them off and looked at the ground. But of course she knew I had an incident so she let me be.

*Last hour*

The bell finally rang and I got out of the room. I went to my locker to get my stuff and that's when Lisa showed up. "Hey Krystal you look so cute with your sunglasses on," she said as she poured her Starbucks on my head. Everyone laughs at me. "HEY!" I heard a voice say. I looked and it's Nash and Cameron. "Can't you see she's had enough of this! GET OUT OF HER LIFE. You girls obviously have no lives if you're just here treating an innocent girl like this," Nash says. "Yeah, you have no right to just treat her like trash because you're the real trash around here," Cameron says.

The girls finally walked away without saying a word. "Thanks guys," I say smiling and hugging them tight. "And Cameron I didn't know you would ever stand up for me because you're my brother," I say laughing. "That's what a brothers for," he says smiling. We walk home talking and laughing. Finally my life is more normal. And it was just because of Nash and Cameron.

We made it home and I went up to my room. I was keeping a little secret from them. And that secret was I LOVE singing. I just love it so much. I have the app called vine and people on there actually like my singing and so I kept singing. And I knew Nash and Cam had vine so I was praying they didn't find my account. I went on it and sang 'Something Big'. And after I posted it my phone started beeping and beeping and beeping. I was so happy that people liked my voice.

I know it's pretty crazy that my own brother doesn't know I have vine. But it would be kinda embarrassing for me if he ever heard me sing. The only people who know I sing is the Jacks and Shawn. And I also play a sport but everyone knows. I play volleyball and I love it so much. I'm actually going to practice later in the day by myself. I always do.

*Midnight*

I went in my room and saw Nash there. "Hey," he says. "Uhh..hi," I say awkwardly. "Can we talk?" he asks sitting on the bed. "Sure," I way and sit down next to him. "Look this is hard for me to say...really hard but.............(silence for a loooong time)...I think...I'm in love with....you" Nash says.

"Nash I just got out of a break up I'm sorry," I say. WHAT DID I JUST DO I'M MADLY IN LOVE WITH HIM. I BLEW IT. "Oh okay," he says getting up and walking out of the room. I went downstairs got my volleyball and went to the volleyball court. I know it's midnight but who cares my life is over anyways.

When I got there, there was a fence. I climbed it and got in. I practiced a lot and got my anger out by hitting the ball really hard. After I got tired I just screamed as loud as I could and then breathed heavily. "Are you ok?" I heard a voice say and I could barley see the person. "Who are you?" I asked backing away. And I finally saw the persons face. "I'm Matthew Espinosa. I go to Magcon with you," he says. "Oh hey Matt, and no I'm not okay," I say looking down.

"What's wrong?" Matt asked me. "You know Nash right?" I ask. "Yes," he says. "Well he told me that he's in love with me and I said I was just in a break up and I totally blew it because...I'm actually in love with him too," I say starting to cry. "It's okay, I'll help you through this. All you have to do is be strong and tell him the truth," Matt says. "Please just tell him the truth I promise it will help," Matt says.

"Alright I'm trusting you, thank you Matt," I say hugging him.
