The Meeting

Captain Amp! A voice said from behind the captain. Amp turned to find his ARF trooper Blizt waiting for him to turn around. What is it Blizt? Sir, general Skywalker told me to come find you. He says theirs a meeting that your required at. Very well. Tell me Blitz, do you know what this meeting is for? No sir, they said that I would find out when they stated the meeting. I see, well let's not keep the general waiting. Amp started off towards the meeting room with Blitz right behind him. It didn't take very long before Amp and Blitz to get to the meeting room. When they arrived their were more Jedi then he had expected. Ah, captain Amp. How nice of you to join us. Amp looked to the person who had spoken and found that master Ka-Aid-Mundi or general Mundi has us clones called him. General Mundi, what was the reason for this meeting if you don't mind me asking. On that subject I will let general Skywalker explain. Amp looked back to general Skywalker who had been standing near the center of the table next to general Kenobi. Well first off, thank you for joining us captain Amp. Second, the reason I requested you because I wanted to see if you would accept the role as captain of a new unit? I'd be more then willing sir, it's my duty to lead republic forces in any battle. Just tell me my unit and what Jedi general I'll be serving under and me and Blitz can be ready to go within the hour. Well that's the thing captain Amp, this one be just another unit, you see we're creating a squad thats a mix of units. What do you mean sir? Well we're pulling some of the best men from different units and placing them under your command. May I ask what units sir? Well I'll be giving two of my 501st men, hand picked by captain Rex. There will also be some bomb squad, a 2nd airborne trooper, some 41st elite corps, and some others. Your squad will only consist of you, ARF trooper Blitz, and sixteen other men. Does this squad already have a name? This time it was Kenobi's turn to speak. Yes, we've started calling it Misfit Squad. Wether y'all will keep calling it that, is up to you. Understood general. That's all captain Amp, you and Blitz are free to go, your new squad is in barracks 332 on the east side of base. Yes general Skywalker. With that Amp and Blitz turned and left the meeting room and were on their way to meet their new squad. It took them a few minutes to walk to the east side of the base since they were in the meeting that was conveniently placed on the west side of the base. Ready to meet the new squad Blitz? Yes sir, let's just hoped that they function well together. Agreed! With that, Amp pushed open the door and stepped into the chaos filled room.

*Brooks POV*
*few minutes earlier*
Hey Brooks, why don't you come join me and Flare over here? Why don't you quit being so loud before you say something and get one of these other fellows angry? Come on, you can't believe that they would really taunt us for not being part of a legion or something. Actually yes I do, as far as their concerned we're nothing but a group of shinies that haven't seen combat. Every other one of them as been in multiple combat situations. He's got a point Aqua. Oh shut up Flare. Brooks could help but chuckle at his brothers. What's so funny shiny? Brooks, Aqua, and Flare all turned to see two 41st elite corps members had come over to see what was going on. Nothing that concerns you brother. Watch it shiny, Bush here doesn't take kindly to being mistreated. Does he now? Well maybe Bush shouldn't take offense to things so easily. Easy Aqua, we don't want to say anything rash. Oh shut up Brooks, what's the worse he can do to me? Maybe you should listen to your partner, Bush will beats you across one side of the sector to the other. What if he can't take me? Is that a challenge shiny? I don't know, you tell me big shot. Then to no ones surprise, Aqua got a well placed punch in his gut and all hell broke loose. Troopers began to cheer while others decided to join in and play whoop the shiny which meant that me and Flare where also the targets.

*Captain Amp's POV*
I walked in to find complete and utter chaos in the barracks. Blitz walked up and saw what was happening and let out a sign. What is the meaning of this? All of a sudden every trooper ran to form lines in the middle of the barracks. Sorry sir, we were just having a bit of fun and got carried away. A bit of fun you say? Yes sir! I see and you trooper, step forward. A trooper in all white step forward. What is your name? My certification number is ct-1103 but my squad mates call me Brooks. And you are your squad mates? Flare and Aqua sir! I see, and would you say that you were having "fun"? Oh yes sir. It's just like the other trooper said sir, we were just having fun and got carried away. Listen Brooks, I'm only going to say this once, I don't like being lied to so your going to tell me what actually happened, you understand me? Yes sir! So what happened here? Well you see sir, me, Aqua, and Flare were minding our business when Bush and another trooper came over. Some words were exchanged between Aqua and Bush's comrade and a fight broke out and us shines were the main target. I see, you may fall back in to line trooper. That will be all. Yes sir! Brooks step back into line and there was an uneasy silence amongst the troopers. Listen up, my name is captain Amp. You'll will do as I say when I say. Behind me is Blitz, he is my second in command till I find another one. Starting tomorrow, there will be a schedule so I can figure out what your strengths and weaknesses are. I want my squad to be the best. Is that understood? Sir yes sir! Get some rest, you'll need it for tomorrow. With that, me and Blitz walked out of the barracks and to the mess hall for some grub.
