Remarried?! (F)

In a small town located in Japan, the [insert father's surname] family had many joyous moments. Well, that was before a serial killer went around. Unfortunately, one of the victims was the mother of the household, and when they learned that she had passed away, she took the family's happiness with her.

Everyone was devastated by the loss of their beloved wife/mother. Many household members held hatred for the killer. Despite the devastation and hatred in his heart, the father knew that he could not raise all the children by himself, and that his late-wife wouldn't want him, or the children, to live in misery for the rest of their lives. So, he made the heartbreaking decision to try and move on.

Eventually, he did find someone who made him feel just as happy as his late-wife had. The father and his love interest had continued to go on dates for a couple months before he decided it was time for the children to meet [insert love interest's name]. The children had many mixed feelings about the love interest. Some hated them, soley because they were taking the place of their beloved mother. Some started to dislike their father for replacing her. But, some members of the family decided to push their own emotions aside, having seen [insert love interest's name] make their father happy.
