PROLOUGE I
DIVAS AND DUMBASSES
"Oh, my God, you diva!" I call, as I enter the boys section of Madam Malkin's, looking for my idiot of a brother. "My dress robes were finished ages ago, and you're here fawning over your own reflection."
"Calm down, Rie."He tells me, and I roll my eyes. "It's not been that long. And, plus, if you looked like me, you'd fawn at your reflection, too."
"You mean, if I looked like a toerag?" I ask him, sarcastically, but before he can reply, we overhear someone.
"Have you got your own broom." A boy's voice comes.
"No." Another voice answers, as me and Sebastian look at each other. He smiles at me, and I panic.
"No." I warn him. "Don't you dare."
But it's too late, he grabs my arm, and turns us towards the curtain separating us from the voices, and pulls it open, making the two boys turn towards us, surprised.
"Hi." He greets, cheerfully, and I try to hide my face. "I'm Sebastian, and this is my twin sister, Sabrina. Do you play Quidditch?"
"No." The boy with the brown hair, and spectacles, answers.
"I do." The other one answers, and I finally look up at him. He has very pale skin, and platinum blonde hair, which you could see shining from a mile away. He has a flat tone, with just a little bit of interest, that could hook you to the conversation. "My Father says, it's a crime, if I don't get picked to play for my house, and I must say, I agree."
"Me too." Sebastian answers, confidently. "Both me and my sister are going to play for our house's teams."
"I wouldn't say that with so much confidence." I mutter.
"Know what house you'll be in, yet?" The blonde asks.
"No." The other one replies, the word seeming to be the only one in his vocabulary.
"I recon, I'll be a Ravenclaw." Sebastian answers.
"As if your dumbass could get into Ravenclaw." I comment, and he glares at me.
"What house will you be in, Rie?" He asks, sarcastically. "Is there a house for sarcastic losers?"
"No, but there's a house for dumbasses." I reply. "You'll fit right in."
"No one really knows until they get there." Sebastian says, to divert the attention away from my statement, as I smirk.
"I'll be in Slytherin, all our family have been— imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" The blonde one says.
This seemed to ruin my mood, more then I expected. There is nothing wrong with Hufflepuff, they are kind and loyal people, and I don't think they get enough credit. It just makes me so mad, when people don't treat it with respect.
"I wouldn't worry about that." I tell him, my voice hard. "Only loyal and trustworthy people get into that house, and I don't think you are either of those."
With that, I grab Sebastian's arm, and drag him out of there, anger coming off of me in waves.
Who the hell does he think he is?
