"Y/N, Are you ready yet?" Your boyfriend Kei Tsukishima asked you slightly annoyed. "Yes sorry baby I am almost ready just need to finish doing my hair." You tell your longtime boyfriend while trying to curl the last bits of your (h/l) (h/c). Honestly you aren't sure how you got to this point and time with him. It all started back at that day in your second year at karasuno.
"Everyone please meet your new manager in training, (y/l/n) (y/n)!" Kiyoko Shimizu and Hitoka Yachi said together while introducing you to then team. "Would you like to introduce yourself love?" Hikota-chan softly asked you with you stuttering as a response, it's not like you didn't want to introduce yourself but the guys here are so tall and Kiyoko-san and Hikota-chan are just so beautiful and you felt so out of place.
"It's okay if you're nervous, this was me on my first day too. They may seem really intimidating since they are tall but trust me they are all sweethearts." Hikota-san said hoping the words are somewhat comforting to you. "Thank you Hikota-chan." You said smiling at her. "Call me Yachi and no problem." Yachi says giving you a thumbs up as a way to give you motivation to introduce yourself.
"Um.. H-Hi my name is (y/l/n) (y/n) and I'm a second year and just transferred here from America. And um... I guess that's it." You say looking around nervously but to see all the boys were totally invested in what you were saying. You looked at all the boys and the crowd and then your heart stops when your eyes set on him. That moment he catches your gaze feels like eternity... until Coach Ukai says "Okay boys! Let's start practice!"
Your boyfriend interrupts your train of thought as he comes upstairs into the bedroom. "Y/N, I swear to god if you don't hurry up I will-" You turn around to see your boyfriend face flushed and speechless. "You alright tsukkipoo?" You say wondering why he stopped in midsentence. "You know I hate it when you call me that." Tsukishima says making a pouty face. "Don't lie you know you love it but what's wrong babe? You seem in distress." It isn't like tsukki to not have words or be speechless about anything at all.
"You just- You look so beautiful y/n. What did I ever do to deserve you?" Believe it or not, you're his world, his rock. He's glad you came into his life when you did even though it took a while to set things in motion. When he came upstairs saw you wearing a beautiful summer dress with white flowers on them his heart stopped. "Woah, what happened to the tsukki I know and who replaced him with someone sappy??" Tsukki pouts at what you just said to him.
"I'm joking baby, I love you and you did everything right." You say giving him a hug and a peck on the cheek. "I love you too... I guess. Ready to go get some bubble tea loser?" He says staring into your beautiful (e/c) eyes. God he is so whipped for you. You slip your hands into his and close some more of the distance between you two. "Well what are we waiting more then? Let's go~" You said whispering in his ear and then dragging him out the door.
While walking to the bubble tea shop near by with tsukki hand in hand, you started to think about the first time you've actually talked to him. Well actually talked to him and not stare at him the whole time. "Ouuu, checking out Tsukishima I see Y/N." You blushed furiously after your good friend Yachi pointed it out. It has been two months since you transferred here and you were honestly having a blast. You, Yachi and Kiyoko became great friends over time and talk almost everyday. You and Yachi had most of your classes together so you naturally became close friends. It has been two months since you also started mangering for the boys volleyball team and you actually enjoy it. "Yachi! Shhh he might hear you 🥺👉👈."
You tried to hide it as best as your can but you can't deny the crush you had on karasuno's number 11. Maybe he was just a little bit rude to everyone cause he likes speaking the honest truth, and maybee being mysterious as he was made you more interested. You have never talked to him before afraid to make a fool of yourself and for him to think you're weird. "Y/n, let us help you make the first step." Kiyoko says while also keeping her eyes on the game. "After the match, when you and yachi go give out the water and towels, compliment him about his game. Talk to him on how good his blocks were and maybe, if you're up to it, you can tell him how he can improve." Kiyoko saying with her full attention on you now.
"I believe that's a great idea!! It can't fail either." Yachi says very excitingly. "I don't know guys... What if I mess up my words or worse make a fool out of myself." You say leaning against the wall sighing. "Come on Y/n! You can do it and we all believe in you." Yachi says hoping what she said had brought her friend the much needed support she needs right now. "Thank you Yachi and thank you Kiyoko. You guys are the best girlfriends I can ask for." You say smiling wide at the both of them. "No problem Y/N and I know I've said this before but you know that you can call me Shimizu baby." Kiyoko says smiling at you back. "Yes ma'am. Thank you Shimizu."
"Babe, you okay?" Tsukki asks you after seeing you drifting off into a daydream you were having. "Yea, I'm sorry. I was just thinking about how everything played out so well." "Well yeah, I think we built up a really good friendship and to be honest, you're one of the best friends I've ever had, well besides tadashi." Your loving boyfriend says staring into your (e/c) eyes. "Oh my gosh, tadashi suffered in between the both of us. I still feel bad for that."
You were cleaning up and making sure the boys had their stuff after practice today. This week they're at a training camp which is being hosted by the one and only Nekoma High school. You were planning to walk back to the dorms with Tsukki and Tadashi but when tsukki got dragged away by bokuto to come practice with them. So here you are walking back to the dorms with tadashi ranting your feelings out to him.
"It's not that I don't like tsukki, I mean I do have a crush on him but he's been here for me for so long and I just don't wanna loose that." You say walking backwards facing the green-haired boy. "Well, y/n I've known tsukki since we were little and he has never ever been this nice to someone. I'm serious, since the first day you talked to him there's been something different about him when you're around, it's like he's calm, his aura and attitude is just different." Tadashi says. "Oh really dashi? I don't think it's because of me though but who knows." You say turning back and skipping away. From that day forward Tadashi knew it was gonna be hell getting you two together.
"I really can't believe how stupid we both were. It was just that you were always there for me whenever I wanted to cuddle, have late night runs to the store, or just when I needed to just let it all out and cry." You say walking down the street holding hands with him. Once you arrive to the bubble tea shop tsukki stop. "What's wrong babe?" You say with a worried look. "I know I'm not good at expressing my feelings but I just wanted to say that thank you for sticking with me. I know I'm not a easy person to get along with but you made it better. You made me became a better person than what I was 10 years ago. Just thank you." You look at your boyfriend with the most admiration you could ever look at someone. Before you could even say anything his lips were pressed against yours. The kiss was short and sweet but full of emotion and you didn't want it to end.
"I just want to say I love you y/n." You pull your boyfriend in for another short but sweet kiss. "I love you too tsukki. Now let's go get some bubble tea." You say happily pulling your boyfriend into the bubble tea shop.
