I walked downstairs to the madness that is my family.
"Spencer." Brandon yelled.
"Brandon." I yelled.
"Grandma's here." Brandon said.
"Alexis or Laura?" I asked.
"Laura." Mom said.
"Then I'm going to Grandpa's for breakfast." I said.
"No you're not." Mom said. "Liam's already made your breakfast."
"Fine." I said.
"Thank you Spence." Mom said.
"There's these shoes that I want—" I trailed off.
"How much?" Mom asked.
"$190." I said.
"If you get above a B in your math test I'll give you the money for the shoes as long as you walk into the kitchen and sit down with out making comments." Mom said.
"Okay." I said. We walked into the kitchen.
"Morning Spence." Liam said handing me a plate of bacon.
"Morning Liam." I said.
"I told you call me L-Dog." Liam said.
"I'm not calling you that Liam." I said making myself iced coffee. Chantelle and Kaitlyn were yelling at each other and Brandon was sleeping in his chair.
"Mom Kaitlyn's taken my shoe." Chantelle screamed.
"Dad Chantelle's taken my hairband." Kaitlyn yelled.
"No I didn't." They yelled together.
"Be quiet I'm trying to sleep." Brandon said.
"Girls stop yelling." Liam said.
"You two said you wanted to go to the park after school but if you keep yelling you can stay home and do your homework." Mom said as I sat next to Brandon. Mom sat next to me.
"Spencer." Brandon said.
"Yes Brand." I said.
"I want a hug." Brandon said.
"Come here then." I said pushing my chair back so he could sit on my lap. Brandon sat on my lap and took a piece of bacon off my plate.
