"Hi honey" Kevin shouted as he heard the door open, he could hear stacey's voice but he didn't realise until she got closer that she was talking to someone else. He walked into the kitchen and saw a little girl in tattered clothing stood clinging onto stacey's hand.
"Hello there" he said to the little girl. She hid behind Stacey and he watched as his girlfriend carefully picked her up.
"It's okay Angel this is my boyfriend. His name is Kevin and we live together" she told the girl. Angel politely held out her hand for a handshake and Kevin smiled at her.
"Welcome to the family" he said with a big smile and Angel smiled back at him. She was so excited cos it looked like she might finally have a family!
