Chapter 5

I stopped kissing Oliver and got up quickly, "Duty calls!" I said. He smiled knowing what it was like to have a whole team relying on you. "See you later?" he asked his voice full of hope, something I missed. "Lunch tomorrow!" I yelled back now taking my broom from Draco and walking with him to the Quittach pitch. "So you and Wood?" he asked knowing my answer but still wanting to hear me admit defeat. "Yea, but don't tell anyone else! Its not official" I nudged him in the arm a little entering the pitch to see my team sitting and talking in the middle of the felid. "Have them warm up while I go change!" I told Draco running off into the locker room. I opened my locker and quickly slid on a my Quittach hoodie and some leggings. It was kinda cold. I changed my shoes to some muggle brand ones I got when I went shopping with Draco. I ran back out finding the team throwing the quaffle back and forth. I ran up to help instruct the rest of practice not able to keep Oliver off my mind

After practice

I walked back into the Slytherin common room tired yet my mind was still clouded by Oliver. I didn't think I was gonna be able to sleep that night. I sighed running up to my dorm opening the door to find a hoodie on my bed. I walked over to it to find a note. it read - 

"Hope your practice was good! I wish you didn't have to leave so soon but I look forward to seeing you tomorrow! Here's a little gift!" 

I looked back at the hoodie now realizing it was his Quittach one. It had his name and number on the back and read captain on the front. I smiled to myself a little sliding mine off and slipping his on. It was way too big but it smelled like him. Immediately all my thought and doubts of how he felt about me went away. I sat down on my bed looking back at the note again reading it over and over in my head until I fell asleep.

Morning

I woke up to the smell of Oliver suddenly all the worry and fear went away. I opened my eyes and smiled hopping out of bed and putting on my outfit for the day (just a Slytherin uniform) and ran down to the common room to find Draco. I smiled and sat next him. "Good morning!" I greeted. "Why such a good mood Y/L/N?" he asked looking over at me. "I'm always in a good mood!" I said taking the coffee off the table. It was a morning tradition! Waking up early and drinking coffees in the common room with Draco. "Last week you called Pansy a 'filthy mudblood who would never receive my love' and when I thanked you for saying that you said 'I wasn't standing up for you I was taking my anger out!'." he mocked me in a high voice. "First off I don't sound like that! Second off I was mad about that girl flirting with Oliver then!" I yelled back. My good mood turned into annoyance for Pansy quickly as she came down the stairs. Who did she think she was? "Hey Y/N!" she called sitting next to Draco. "Hey Pansy." I replied less enthusiastic then I was before. "Did you see how adorable Wood looked yesterday? I mean I hate Gryffindor's but he is HOT! I think I might ask him out!" she spat annoying making my hate for her grow and jealousy rise. I looked between her and Draco trying to figure out weather to leave it be or scream at her. I was still debating on weather or not to kill her when I heard a knock at the common room door. Draco got up to open it but I shot him a look telling him to stay. I needed to get up anyway because at this point Pansy's life was in danger. I walked to the door and pushed it open to reveal Oliver holding two coffee's in his hand. "Hey" he said holding one coffee out to me. "Thank you!" I replied taking it. Draco came up behind me. "Thank god your here! Y/N was about to kill Pansy!" He whisper yelled to Oliver. My cheeks turned red, he noticed and looked back at me. "What did she do?" he questioned a small smile forming on his lips. I could barley focus anymore when Pansy came up too. "I was just saying how hot you looked yesterday." she said with full confidence that he was going to return the feelings. "Oh um-" he started to stutter so I stopped him. "Anyway, wanna go for a walk before class Wood?" I asked looking back at him and letting Pansy's presence fade for a moment. "Why would HE wanna go for a walk with YOU?" she laughed taking a sip from the coffee that was mine before Oliver showed up. He ignored her completely sensing the jealousy weaved into my voice. "Sure Y/L/N" he responded, cupping my cheek and bringing me into a quick kiss. When we pulled away I saw Pansy mouth dropped looking like she was gonna cry. I chuckled a little and grabbed my school bag from the couch walking back over to Oliver. He took my hand and led me out into the hallway. "So you got jealous?" he asked smirking a little to himself. "No!" I rolled my eyes. I sipped the coffee in my hand now recognizing the taste of hazelnut. "How'd you know?" I asked. "You have one before EVERY game!" he said nudging me in the arm a little. His movement made me notice that our hands were still together. I blushed looking back up to the hallway. "So did you get my gift?" he asked. We still didn't make eye contact. "yeah" I smiled shyly. "Your cute when your shy." he spoke. I was a Slytherin and though I flaws I was NOT supposed to show them. "Well your cute all the time!" I spoke making him blush a little. We heard the bell but we had first hour together anyway so we kept walking but this time we had a destination. When we finally reached Transfiguration Pansy was standing outside the door. "What do you want?" I asked. I was tired of dealing with her and is she showed up one more time I was gonna 'Avada cadavra' her off the planet. "So are you guys dating?" she asked pointing between me and Oliver. "Not officially why?" I asked wishing I could stab her with my eyes before she made her next move. "No reason!" she said walking up to Oliver and kissing him on the cheek. "Bye Y/N, Bye Ollie!" she called as she skipped into the class room. Oliver looked shocked but I felt as if I was about to murder someone. I turned around and walked back down the hallway mouth dropped trying to configure myself. This was the second class I would miss in the last 2 days but I didn't care. I would not go into that room like this!
