I woke up when I heard someone yelling my name. It was my mother. "We need to buy you a dress!" my mom yelled from downstairs. I groaned and got out of bed. I fixed my hair and got dressed. I went downstairs to see my mom tapping her foot. "We'll eat breakfast at Subway. Now let's go and we'll buy you a dress for Brooke's party." my mom said. I playfully rolled my eyes. Brooke is my best friend.

We both went into the car and drove to the mall. When we arrived, it took us 10 minutes to find a parking. Luckily, we found one. We entered the mall and the place was packed.

We decided to buy a dress in Macy's. It took us a while to find the perfect dress. "How about this?" my mom asked. She was holding a yellow strapless dress with a yellow bow on the back. I shook my head. "Keep searching." I said. She nodded and continued searching. "Found it!" I said. I took out a strapless blue dress. "That's beautiful. How much is it?' my mom asked. I looked for the tag. It was $35.99.

"35.99." I said to my mom. "I'll buy it." she said. I came to her and hugged her. "Thank you, mom." I whispered in her ear. "You're welcome, sweetie." she replied. She bought me the dress. Next, we went to Payless Shoe Source to buy me sandals. I gasped when I found a blue high heels that matches my dress. "Did you find one?" my mom asked. "Yes." I replied. "How much is it?" she asked. "$20.99." I replied. "I'll buy it, don't worry." she said. I smiled. "Thanks, mom." I said happily. "You're welcome." she replied.

"Mom, I need to pee. I'm gonna use the bathroom." I said. She nodded and I ran to the bathroom. While I was running, I bumped into someone. He had shaggy hair and blue eyes. "I'm sorry." he apologized. He helped me get up. "Oh, it's not your fault. I'm Hana." I said. "I'm Chandler." he replied.

"Can I have your number, Hana?" he asked. I nodded and we exchanged numbers. "I'll text you, Hana. Bye." he said and left. I walked to the restroom and did my business.

When I'm done, I went to find my mom. For about 20 minutes, I found her. "Hana, you're okay." she said hugging me. "I thought you would be gone. I was worried but I'm so glad to see you." she said. She hugged me tight.

"Mom, I'm okay. Can we go now?" I asked politely. She nodded and we went home. Great, Brooke's party will be in 2 days.
