We stood outside of Gringotts bank, wondering where we should go first -seeing as there were millions of places to go.

"Might as well get yer uniforms." Hagrid (who was still practically green) nodded to Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions, "Listen, Harry an' Lottie, would yeh mind if I slipped off fer a pick-me-up in the Leaky Cauldron? I hate them Gringotts carts."

"Sure, Hagrid." I smiled. I grabbed Harry's sweaty hand and dragged him into Madam Malkin's Robe shop.

When we entered, we were greeted by a short woman wearing all mauve, "Hogwarts, dears?"

"Yes ma'am." I nod.

"Got the lot here -another young man being fitted up now, in fact." She nodded to a blond boy being fitted. He was the same boy from Gringotts bank, with his -what I assume- was his Mother. I believe their name was Malfrey?

"Wait right here Miss while I get this young man settled." Madam Malkin said. I nodded as she directed Harry to a stool next to the blond boy. Two other girls and an older woman walked in and came and stood next to me. One girl had long blonde hair and she looked to be my age, while the other girl looked to be 8 or 9 with brown hair.

"Daphne, Astoria and I are going to go walk around and maybe get some ice cream while you're getting fitted." The woman said to the blond.

"Okay, Mom." The girl smiled.

As her Mom and the younger girl left, she turned to me, "Hogwarts, too?"

"Yeah, it's my first year." I replied as Madam Malkin led us to the stools on the girls side of the shop. There was already a girl standing on the third stool. She kind of looked like....... a dog.

"Same." The girl smiled. "I'm Daphne Greengrass, by the way."

"Charlotte Potter." I smiled. I expected her to go crazy and ask for my autograph like almost everyone else had done that day, but she didn't. She had a shocked look, but tried her best to hide it

"Charlotte Potter? Dead parents, grew up with Muggles, Charlotte Potter?" The girl on the 3rd stool said.

"And who are you?" I asked, raising my eyebrow.

"Pansy Parkinson." She stuck her chin in the air.

"Well, Pansy Parkinson, I hope you know you look like a dog, and not in a cute, fluffy way." I sneer.

She scowled, jumped off the stool, and bursted out the door.

Daphne and I were laughing and clutching at our ribs.

"Be still you two!" One of the semesters' sneered.

I turned my head to see how Harry was doing and he was already gone. The blond headed boy was still there, though.

"Ouch! Be careful!" The boy shouted to the woman fixing his robes.

I smirked and turned back to Daphne, "Who's that?"

"Draco Malfoy. Future 'King of Slytherin', like his Father and Grandfather were. Pansy Parkinson has the biggest crush on him and she might kill you if you get in her way of being his queen." Daphne said, noticing my staring at him.

Slytherin? What the bloody hell is Slytherin?

"Oh? Is that so?" I chuckled. "We'll see about that."

"I- I know this is kind of rude, but, can I see your scar?" Daphne asked.

"I would let you, but it's on my upper thigh and that would require me to strip in front of all these people." I shrug.
