"It's not much, but it's home." Oswald says quietly as him and Ed walk into City Hall. Ed was had just recently accepted his bisexuality, as had been dating Barbara Kean for 3 months before they split up after Ed left her for Oswald. Now she had her own turf with the sirens club, where no men were allowed. She had created that rule after Ed dumped her for the man that had killed Butch and then killed her beloved Tabby cat.

"Hello, Edward. Ozzie...I've been looking through your little treasure trove. You've been a naughty little bird, Ozzie."

Shit, Barbara's here....

"Barbara, oh God, this is awkward..." Oswald says awkwardly, looking back and forth between Ed and Barbara.

"Well, you did kill my girlfriend..." Barbara points out.

"That psychopathic bitch killed my mother" Oswald snaps.

"Nice comeback, Ozzie, I always loved your sass..."

"Oh my God..." Ed says suddenly.

"What?" Oswald asks, confusion evident.

"You're pregnant..." Ed says quietly, staring at Barbara.

"How could you possibly know that?"

"You're glowing... She's glowing..."
Oswalds confusion only grew at that statement.

Well...this is awkward... Riddler chimed in
We did do...that thing you have to do to knock someone up about three months back... y'know, before we dumped her for Oswald...

Shut up right now....

"Well, um, congratulations, I guess..."

"Oh, please! I want nothing to do with you! You dumped me for the man who murdered my girlfriend!"

"Yes, well, to be honest... you're kinda crazy..." Ed says quietly, chuckling nervously.

"Just shut up while I kill him." Babs says, raising her gun to Oswalds head.
Oswald squeezes his eyes shut and waits for the bullet.

But she lowers the gun.

"God, what's wrong with me?"

"Well, it could be--."

"One more word and you'll get a bullet too!" She shouts.

"Wait! We have a way to escape this island." Oswald says in a panic.

"You can escape?"

Ed shows her the blue prints for the submarine he was building.

"It's a submarine." He says. Oswald points at Ed and smiles, looking at Barbara.

"Come with us..." Oswald says quietly, hoping that escaping the island will spare their lives.

"Okay...but I still hate both of you. You dumped me for Penguin, and you killed the woman I loved... nothing changes that..."

6 months later, the sub is finished and they are getting ready to set sail and get the hell out of gotham. Barbara pulls up in her car and steps out, extremely pregnant by then.

"You ready to go, Babs?" Ed calls out, standing on the pier next to Oswald.

"As ready as I'll ever be, Nygma!" She calls back.
