Matthew 16:24

 24  Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone wants to follow me, he must deny himself, pick up his cross, and follow me continuously.

If we desire to be disciples of Jesus Christ, we must deny ourselves our fleshy desires and the ways of the world and follow Jesus Christ.
Being a Christian isn't easy and it's not supposed to be. With following Jesus Christ comes sacrifice, seperating ourselves from the world, having no pleasure in the ways of the world, and live holy lives.
The temptation to sin will be there, but we must deny ourselves of the temptation and live in God's will for our lives.
Sound hard? Yes? It's supposed to be, but if we stick with Jesus Christ it will be well worth it in the end.
