-Narrator's (me) POV-

Do you believe in the saying 'the thing you love the most is the one that will hurt you the most' or maybe even 'love is never everlasting'? Well i do......

There's this story about a girl,
She was once a happy-go-lucky gal, always energetic, an optimist, and tough. Only one thing can break her and that's..........

Love. Heartbreak. Betrayal. Anything related to that sort, 'love'.

Her earning love when she was 18 was the best thing that ever happend to her. Every single day she spends with her lover, happines grow inside of her. Each day it grows, you may even think they were newly weds as to how they act and their faces give it away. Sometimes even other couples envy them.

But this day.... Her world came crashing around her. Everything changed on that day. Even though it was a very cliche scene, it still hurts like a dagger through your heart. If you're wondering what happend, well it goes like this.

-flashback-

Girl's POV

i wasn't with my lover since he had to go to a family affair. But maybe that's not what he meant. Just infront of me is the worst thing that i could ever think of. You may think that i just saw him with another woman, yes that's true, but this is different. It was like this, we have been dating for five years now and i thought something great will happen hence to the 'signs' he have been giving. But right infront of me was him kneeling down to a girl. Yes that's it, he was proposing to her. May e he was just using me? No it's not true... Right?

I may not think this is the best choice, but i tiptoed to them. My lover didn't notice me since his back was facing me. I tapped his shoulder and i tried to remain as calm as i could but yet that is impossible. My tears, i couldn't hold them back anymore so when he finally turned to face me i was already crying. He realized who i was, the happines from his face was exchanged to a look of irritance and a tint of guilt.

"Oh..... I'm sorry but.... This girl.... Yeah, she's just different.... And..... I.... Bye~" he said then held the arm of the girl and walked away. Right now, i felt numbness. Nothing but being numb. That scene happened 2 years ago. Call me over reacting or something, i don't care. It still hurts. The scene. That memory. I want to forget. I changed on that day.

I slowly walked away. Was i not enough? How about those times we've shared? What did i do wrong? Should i look back and look for what i did? All these thoughts twirled around my head. I couldn't think straight.

All i could hear were birds chirping, leaves rustling, the daily lives people have to do, and cars honking. Wait, wha-?

I turned my head and saw a truck coming my way. Maybe it was time? Maybe i shouldn't live anymore. Everything i had was gone. I stayed, glued to my ground. This was for the best. I was just a burden anyway. And now my life was flashing before my eyes.

But I was suddenly pulled back. I fell but it didn't hurt. I slowly opened my eyes and turned around. I saw a mop of black here and a slightly bruised boy who seemed to be my age. Wait he looks familiar.

"Why would you do this to me?! What were you thinking!?" Instead of soothing words, i hear this. Wow.

"What do you mean? I don't even know you." I replied. I turned around and realized it was levi. Levi. He was my childhood friend. Bestfriend that is. We slowly drifted apart because i had to move and that was how i met my ex-lover.

"What are you saying!? How can you forget?........... I'm levi." He drifted off, he sounded a little hurt and sad. I suddenly hugged him, he was still sitting down so i kneeled in front of him. I can't believe it. It was levi. "Levi...... Levi it's really you.... It's you...."

"You remember me............. Hey, hey why are you crying?" I continued hugging him. "Hey, hey. Answer me? Wait are you hurt? We need to get to the hospital now!" Aaand he's still over-protective.

"You idiot i'm not hurt. I'm just happy you're here!" I exclaimed. This was the first time i smiled since 2 years ago.

Levi. Levi was the one who helped me pick the pieces of my heart and i slowly fell in love with him.
