One Bird Leaves the nest

    The next day and Tokoyami came to visit Bakugo in his hospital room. Tokoyami was expecting a warm welcome but was surprised by a cold glare from Bakugo's angry looking bird eyes.
    "Why the pouty face Kacchan?" Tokoyami asked in a flirty tone.
     Bakugo turned and looked away from him. "I don't know what you're talking about,'' he said and turned to face away from Tokoyami.
     Tokoyami's warm smile turned to a confused and slightly hurt expression. "What do you mean? Do you not remember yesterday? Are you seriously telling me that you want to pretend like it never happened?"
     Bakugo turned to him again with a harsh glare.
    "There's nothing to talk about you email bastard! What do you want?"  
     Toky yummy's voice grew soft again, and he started sashaying towards Bakugo.
     "I want to pick up where we left off," he said, leaning into Baka goes face so their beaks were only a few inches apart.
     Bakugo grabbed Tokoyami's face harshly and raised his opposite palm, putting it next to Tokoyami's dark feathers. He sent sparks from his palms singing the top of Tokoyami's hair and putting off a smoky, sultry scent.
    "I don't want anything from you you stupid emo bastard!"
     Tokoyami pulled away, stunned. "You seriously want to pretend like we had nothing? Love is not a weakness, it's what makes you strong!"
     "It was just one kiss, you assume I'd be interested just because I'm a freak like you now? I don't want your pity!"
     "Are you kidding me? It wasn't just one kiss! Look me in the eyes, Bakugo. Look me in the eyes and say that you didn't feel the spark that I felt between us."
     Bosco turned away again, his hair rippling majestically. Tokoyami's hand rose to Bakugo's cheek, guiding his blood-red eyes back to his own. Bakugo quickly grabbed his wrist, forcing his hand away from him.
     "There's nothing more to talk about. I wish I could love someone like that, but I'm not capable of that Toko yummy! I'm a monster! The only thing people ever praise about me is my quirk! I'm not capable of giving you what you need, why do you tempt me so, Tokoyami?"
     Tokoyami huffed and turned away. "Fine. Have it your way. I don't need you!"
