This is the new chapter to Styles Struck. I am so sorry I have just been so busy. I know what you’re thinking “Aren’t you on holidays?” Well yes I am but I am in this theatre production that is called How to Make Snow. It is about a young boy who is trying to fulfil his grandpa’s wish of a white Christmas. He travels all over the place, to the suburbs, the beach and even space. At the moment we are having rehearsals from 9am till 5pm so it is quite hard to find time to write but I’m trying the best I can.
Today is my day off so there you go. The song that I thought would go well for this is One Direction’s song Still The One. You’ll see where it fits in :)

*3 YEARS LATER*
Where should we go today?” asks Abie.
It had been 3 years since I had had that magical night with Harry and, as expected, we lost contact. It is harder to keep in contact with an internationally famous singer than it looks, but for some reason I was fine with that. I felt like I was given a chance to meet him and I had so now it is up to me and my future. Of course I have had a couple of relationships but nothing really lasting over a month. The boys were nice but they weren’t for me, not really my type not….him.
At a young age, the only place in the world that I have ever wanted to live in is London, I mean who wouldn’t?! It is such a beautiful place, full of landmarks and hotties with cute accents. As soon as I met Abie for the first time in 9th grade we just bonded and soon made a pact that when we leave school we would go and live in London and attend Oxford University. It was a painful 2 years of school but we got through it and guess where we are now? That’s right.
“I heard that there was a really nice coffee shop a couple of streets away. Do you want to try it?” I say answering her question. “Sure! I need my coffee, if I don’t have it soon I will go crazy!” she says.
I laugh. You do not mess with Abie when she has not had her coffee, not a good move. “It’s 9:30am.”
“And your point is? I need my caffeine Lauren. I thought you knew that by now!” she says smiling. I grab my wallet, phone and keys. “I’m guessing that’s a yes. Come on!” I say and both of us walk out the door of our apartment, me locking the door behind her.
“Walk or drive?” I ask when we get on the curb. “Drive,” she says “I swear we walked 60 bloody kilometres yesterday!” I laugh at her while she rubbed her calves. “We went on a hike and it was only 10 kilometres” I say. “Still” she says,
We both get in the car, my pride and joy (a green mini), and drive down to the coffee shop. It was a cute little shop with vines creeping along the outside. Inside it has a long brick wall and had a mixture of a vintage and modern look. It looked very comfortable and other must feel the same, it was packed!
“Wow! It must be good. Look at all the people” she says, reading my mind.
We pull into a car park and walk into the shop. “Look there leaving. I’ll get the seats and you order.” I say and make my way over to the corner. Just when I was about to sit down someone bumped into me, sending me crashing into the brick wall. “I am so sorry” they say.
“No it was my fault,” I say standing up right.
“Lauren?”
“Yeah” I say turning around. “Harry! Hi, how have you been? It has been so long” I say giving him a hug. Even though he was wearing a beanie, sunglasses and a jumper I couldn’t mistake him. Man, he had put on a little muscle and, geez, how many tattoos’ does he have now?!
“I’m good. What are you doing here?” he asks he breaks the hug.
“I don’t know about you but I am here for coffee” I say.
“Sassy,” he says chuckling, showing those gorgeous dimples I loved. Wait loved…no. yes. Maybe. I dunno GRRRRR. “No I mean what brings you to London?” We both sit down in the booth so we weren’t blocking everyone’s way.
“I’m studying at Oxford with Abie” I say. “Impressive” he says. We looked at each other. I knew just then that my feelings for him were still there no matter how hard I tried to ignore them. At that moment a girl walked over and sat next to him talking hold of his hand. “Do you want to go?” she asks completely ignoring me. Nice first impression, who was she anyway? “Lauren I’d like you to meet my girlfriend Vanessa. Vanessa I would like you to meet Lauren, a good friend of mine.” He says.
It felt like my heart was being shredded into pieces. His girlfriend. I’m a good friend. Putting on a false smile I said “Nice to meet you”. “Yeah, you too” she says but the expression on her face showed something different. How could Harry like a girl like this? I thought he had better taste for woman like what happened to Cara, she was gorgeous and really nice.
“We should probably get going,” says Harry, sensing the tension. Harry and Vanessa get up and you do as well. He gives you another hug and a kiss on the cheek. You blush and look down. Damit. Why does he have to have this effect on me, it’s not like he feels the same way. He would never like someone as boring and dull as me.
He walks off hand-in-hand with Vanessa and you hear her say “Where did you meet her?” “3 years ago in Australia. She showed me around the area” says Harry. I smile remembering.
Harry P.O.V.
She’s in London. This is incredible. I never thought I would see her again. I mean, yeah we did keep in contact for a little while but the band got huge and I found that I didn’t have time to talk to her but that didn’t mean I never thought of her. I thought of her all the time because I love her. It doesn’t matter that I had relationships in the process, because I’m sure she did too, but it was merely the fact that none of the girls I dated were her. None were Lauren.
We arrived at Vanessa’s house. I walked her up to her door. “Goodnight” I said and kissed her. When she kissed me there was nothing. No spark, no emotion, no anything. She pulled away. “Didn’t feel anything?” she asked. I looked at her. She was a really nice girl though she did get a little jealous when I talked to other girls. I am sure that she would find her special man but it’s just that it isn’t me. “No. I’m sorry. You are a really lovely girl but I’m not the one for you” I said. She smiled. “Thank you Harry. Go and find Lauren. She’s your girl” and with that she gently closed the door.
I smiled to myself. So I wasn’t the only one who knew that she was the one. I had to find her.
