"Hey you wake up! there is no need for your to sleep in. The bus will come soon so you better get your stuff together before it leaves without you." My fathers voice rang in my ears.
"Dad plaese we just moved in yesterday. Don't do this to me." I groaned and rolled over making the pillow muffle out my dad's Awful loud voice.
"Boo-hoo you either riding the bus or your walking. I would take you to school but you are to lazy to wake up. I fiqured you wanted to look cool on your first day." Said my dad as he pulled off my blanket roughly and left me lying on my bed bare.
"Dad!" I woke up annoyed. "God damn it!" I sat up seeing the awful sunlight.
"What did you say?!" He quickly responded.
"I said I wish I could I could fly" I stood up and walked over to my closet.
"You wish." my father responded and walked away from my bedroom door.
I sighed " I just wished we litterally didn't move last night." I grabbed a hangar that had one of my outfits just waiting for me to wear. I am just gald the I was able to un-pack all my clothing. All I have left is my shoes. But at least I got the ones for todays outfit near the doorway waiting for me. After I was done changing I grabbed my new backpack that had empty filers, paper, pencil, and pens. Anyway I check my hair in the mirror and make sure i grabbed my make-up bag and shoved it in my backpack. "Dad I'm done. Can we go now?"
"Morning baby." He came up to me and kissed my forehead.
"Dad I'm not a kid anymore can we just leave." I sighed as I got a piece of toast.
"C'mon Mya its your first day at your hometowns highschool. You should be happy. Some people might remember you." My mother responded as she set coffee down on the table.
"I doubt it, but anybody does I wish they could forget so I can start over." I sighed and followed my dad towards the door.
"Careful what you wish for, what are you trying to accomplish with 'starting over' but trust me the past tends to come back at you."
"Yea? How so?" I smirked and looked at my mother.
"In so many ways." she kissed my check. "You have no idea." she waved good-bye to me and my father as we both stepped into the car.
I sighed because I was still tired but as I finished my piece of toast and I started to take out my make-up bag and started appling a light coat. I wear make up but I never have so much to make myself look to much like a blond wanna be.
"Why don't you try going to school with out make-up?" my father commented.
"I'm already half way done no need to stop now." I responded to him. I slowly saw the school building creep into view and I sighed as I put everything away and back into my backpack. "Well I guess their is no need to stall any longer."
"Yea I guess so." my father said as he drove up to the school entrance and he brought the car to a stop. "Are you sure you don't want to stay here until more students come too?" My father asked consered of me being here so early.
"I think I'll be fine thanks though" I got my things and got out of the door. "Be careful with work." I waved and closed the door. I watched as my father drove out of my sight. I truged my way up the steps and headed to the school office. "Um hello? I am the new student." I said as I looked around the office. "Is anybody here yet?" I said under my breathe.
"Oh hello sorry for making you wait. How are you this fine morning?" A large man came out of a office to my right with a cup of coffee in hand to greeting me. He laughed and offered his hand, "I'm the school principal Mr. Galloton. A pleasure to meet you."
I laughed awkwardly and shook his hand, "My name is Dia. Nice to meet you."
"Dia?" He asked confused, "Wasn't your name M-" As soon as he spoke I said.
"Yes, I prefer to be called Dia than my real name." I tried quickly to change the subject of my name.
"Oh, I understand
