How To Make An Amazing Book Cover

So, you've found the image that best suits your book and you want to make it into a cover.

Remember, it isn't a cover until you have writings on it (your title, your name, & whatever else).

Time to move it to another app.

Now, this entire book is me telling you what I use and what works for me. Something else might work for you but this is my process that yields beautiful results.

Some prefer to use Canva, but I'll be the first to tell you that I've only ever had bad experiences with that app. The fonts are just horrible! I don't like them at all. And if you don't do things a certain way, your title and writeup might disappear! So you have to be extra careful. I'm tryna make a cover not be a graphic designer please.

Plus, they don't help me to properly measure my book cover and still keep all the good parts of the image inside the box and not outside. Further Explanation: if an image is big, they'll help you reduce it but then after they work on it, you can't do anything again. You can't zoom out, or in and still retain a good portion of the image that actually matter. The individuals in the image might get cut off, or some cut out, in an effort for the app to keep your book in a certain measurement and it's frustrating as hell.

Some prefer to use Phonto, however, literally all they do is have fonts so if that's strictly what you want, then that's fine as well.

Personally, I use Over.
