CH9 : Hopefully

Lisa groaned while shifting positions. She slowly opened her eyes to see her in her bedroom. Confusion made it up to her.

"What?" She asked with her husky voice to herself. "I thought I was at my office?" She added.

"You were" a voice answered. Lisa flinched and gazed to where the voice was.

"You passed out" Rosé responded, "huh? But how did I get here?" She interrogated.

Rosé was quite beaming at her question once she heard her. "Hm..." She hummed with a smirk.

The prez furrowed her eyebrows, she tilted her head and stared at the secretary. Raising one eyebrow.

"How?"

Rosé lowly chuckled, "well, you better be thankful he was there" she replied.

There? He?  She thought.

"Well, someone helped you dummy" she said.

Lisa rolled her eyes for the first time, "who?" She asked curiously crossing her arms.

The seated secretary crossed her legs and imitated the prez' crossed arms. "Guess" she simply stated.

"What? Come on Rosé" she pronounced.

Lisa stared at her, waiting for her answer. "It was the h—"

Slam!

The door slammed opened making the two girls flinch at the sudden sound.

"Lisa!" A voice resounded inside the room.

Lisa twitched her ears to her name being called only to see her unnie.

Lisa widened her eyes as well as Rosé, "what the hell were you thinking? You could've been hurt or something! Next time don't push yourself too much, your body will collapse anytime. And Jennie told me you refused to let her help you, why didn't you let her?" Jisoo scolded her.

There's nothing more frightening than their unnie's scolding, her stern voice echoed in the room, also outside since it was open.

Even Rosé was frightened, not just Lisa.

Lisa nervously chuckled, "U—uh un—nie..." She stuttered.

Jisoo sighed, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I was just worried" she announced while closing the door before walking towards them.

Lisa and Rosé heaved a sigh of relief.

That was close, they thought.

"Are you okay?" Jisoo asked as went to the other side to sit beside the prez.

Lisa nodded, "I'm okay now" she answered with a reassuring nod.

Jisoo sighed in relief. "Where's Jennie?" Rosé asked, which Lisa was supposed to ask first.

"She has some paperworks to do" she replied.
