Piggy: Life With The Infected (On hold)

Chapter 6

George P.O.V

I just finished my macaroni and apples, I was going to go back to the room I was at until I caught a glimpse of Amethyst's room. I was a very curious person (curious George!), so I decided to explore a bit. I checked to see where Pony, I saw him in the couch halfway asleep. It seemed like he could go to sleep any second so I decided this was a good time.

I slowly walked inside Amethyst's room, it looked pretty awesome. The walls were purple with some white lines. The bed was in the right corner of the room, it had a black blanket with a white pillow. There was a mini drawer next to her desk, it had a little star lamp and there was a picture frame that was facing down.

I wanted to see what was in the picture frame, but I decided to look at it last. I took another look around the room, it was kinda huge. To the left was a long desk with many pieces of paper scattered around. There was a tiny plastic drawer to the right of the desk. It had things you would use for drawing, pencils, color pencils, markers, erasers, crayons, you name it!

I guessed that she loved to draw, that would explain why she has so many colors and paper scattered around. I picked up one of the drawing and stared at it in amazement. She had drawn herself with a blue and white flower crown, there was grass and flowers around her. It looked amazing. I put it back to its position where I found it and decided to look around more.

There really wasn't much anymore, I could tell that several of these drawers were clothes, so I decided to not open them. I could see that she had a box, but it was locked. I wanted to open it, but I guess I should probably leave her stuff alone.

I took one last look around and I could see that she had a board on the wall next to the drawing desk. I walked closer and tried to read what was on it. I could see many animals, some pictures of her with animals, and some notes in another language I couldn't recognize. I could also see one picture of her with a group of people.

They looked young, so I assumed this picture was old. What was strange was that one of them had cat ears and a tail? I was confused, humans don't have animal parts. Then a thought cane to my head, something I heard when I was younger.

I heard about this group, I never got the name. What I do remember that is that their leader is a very cruel and evil person. They would capture magic people, that's why some people would go missing. They would use their powers for evil. They would sometimes corrupt them and make them work with them. But the most terrible thing that I heard, is that if they ever attempt to do anything, they would be tortured. They would do that until they just bleed out or give up on life. Or they would just kill them on spot. But some that were tortured, they would escape from their chains and exit their cell, just to commit suicide on that same building.

I've heard this many times when I would over hear the tv, or the kids at school. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers. Nobody knows where their little secret base is at. Many police officers have tried to find it, but I guess it was well hidden. After realizing this, I could tell the friends in the picture have abilities of their own.

Then I wondered if Amethyst had any abilities of her own. She looked scared when we were outside, and she would always look around to see if anyone was around. I wanted to ask her, but it would be weird for me to suddenly ask her about something she never talked about. I decided it was time to leave before Amethyst comes back.

Before going out the room, I remembered the picture frame that was facing down. I walked to it and took a deep breath and lifted it up. What I saw almost made me die of cuteness.

They looked so adorable! I loved how their little eyes looked. I assumed the boy was a friend of hers. I've never heard her talk about him before tho. What amazed me was that Amethyst had black hair. I guess that was her regular hair color.

So if she now has purple and blue hair, could it mean she has abilities? I didn't know exactly, I didn't know if people's features change when they find their ability. I decided I was gonna find out myself. I put the picture back to the position it was and walk out the room.
