I wake up to random texts from unknown numbers.

"Lotus im sorry to tell you this..."

"You're Lotus right?"

"Im sorry"

"Did they tell you already?"

What's going on? Who are all these people texting me. I open all of them but I didn't bother to reply. I went to text Olivia instead.

"Hey wanna call? I have something crazy to tell you"

I texted Olivia but as I waited, it seemed like there was no reply. I thought for a moment and assumed she was busy. I set my thoughts aside and went onto Instagram where I saw Olivia's most recent post from 5 hours ago. It would've been about 4 am.

Why was she up so late?

I thought to myself and read her caption.

"My day was 0/10 frfr. It's getting so bad. Idk what to do,"

But that's all it said. I don't think it's ever gone so bad for her. But suggesting how late she posted, she probably is still sleeping right now. I understand where she's coming from right now so I'll let her rest.

Hours fly by and I still haven't gotten a response from her. That's until one of the unknown numbers texted again and I sigh.

"Wait this is lotus right?"

It wouldn't hurt to reply right?

"Yes, this is?"

"Hi... I'm sara. Hold on. Let me do something real quick. You'll hear from me again in a moment."

What's going on? She sounds like she's from an advertisement company. I was just going to block her until a notification popped up again.
