CHAPTER 4

"You bastard!"

Before she even had a chance to grab him he ran into the downstairs bathroom and locked the door backing up, breathing heavily, his eyes wide when she started jiggling the handle wildly before banging on the door.

"Katsuki! How dare you not tell me the truth about the way you act at your school! When he told me how good you were and the flaws about it, I felt embarrassed! You embarrassed me in front of the other parents!" She shouts.

He puts his hands over his ears and falls down, his breathing getting faster. Her screaming gets louder and he passes out.

He awakens to silence. It was still light out. He stands up and with a shaking hand unlocks the door opening it. It was quiet. He slowly walks out and shuts it only to jump when a glass smashes into the wall next to him.

"You little brat!" She shouts.

"Oh no!"

He's suddenly grabbed by the hair and Mitsuki drags his struggling body towards his room. He was crying and telling her to stop but she only tightens her grip on his hair and throws him into his room. He falls to the ground and quickly backs up against the bed and raises his hands to his face.

"Look at you, thinking you're all that at school. Oh yeah, your teacher told me everything about the way you acted though he didn't seem to care, you embarrassed your own mother!"

He shakes his head whimpering.

"They might think you're strong but you're nothing without your quirk! Nothing." She scoffs.

"I-I am not we-"

He suddenly gets his hair grabbed again and he whimpers dropping his hands, his mother's breath smelt of liquor.

"You only speak when I tell you! Are you trying to disobey your mother!?"

"N-No I'm not!"

She lets go of his hair and slaps him hard in the face making him fall on his side.

"You are staying in this room, no dinner, no nothing!" She shouts at him.

He shakingly nods at her and she leaves locking the door behind her with a key. He waits until he can't hear her shoes and stands up.

He sniffles and lays on his bed, his eyes wide open. He wasn't going to be able to sleep at all tonight. A few minutes passed and his stomach was growling, his mouth watering when he smelled noodles downstairs.

"I'm hungry..."He mumbles.

He decided to pack his things to take his mind off of food but that still didn't help when he finished.

After a while longer, it was dark and the house was silent, his mother was asleep but he was still awake. He checks the alarm clock.

11:16.

He laid awake until the sunlight started to shine through his window. He then gets up and changes. He looks at himself in the mirror. He didn't look so great. His dark circles couldn't really be seen but they would still be able to see them and his stomach was hurting.

He was glad they were moving into the dorms today, that meant he didn't have to see his mom alot.

His door unlocks and he walks out of the bathroom. His mom opens the door and looks at him with a sigh.

"Get out here, I made you breakfast," She grumbles.

He follows her downstairs to see a bowl of cereal and sits down.
