it's always been her against the world. everything she ever got, she got by her sheer will and perseverance. laiken o'connell was born of spite and raised in fear.

for as long as she could remember, laiken jumped from foster home to foster home throughout illinois. she struggled in school as she was thrown through many different school districts; it didn't help with the chaos that ensued at each of her foster homes. when laiken turned 16, she was granted emancipation.

since then, she worked exhaustingly hard for everything she ever wanted to achieve. laiken started her youtube channel, gravebaby, as a hobby in-between working three jobs. she started off reading books, but it wasn't until laiken started playing horror games that she rose in popularity.

making friends brought her joy, seeing as how she was only ever close to one person. finding her place amongst the gaming community was one of the best things she could have ever imagined happening to her, but it wasn't until she met him that she knew that for sure.
