IVY'S POV
It was the first week of March, and I had just turned 18 weeks yesterday as today is Monday.
We actually had an appointment today, a very exciting one at that as we'd be finding out the gender of the baby.
We were already in the car since we had left earlier than usual cause me and Axel were going to get something to eat.
Morgan already ate when she first woke up.
"So what do you think it'll be? Boy or girl?" I asked Axel as we were waiting for our food to come out.
"I'm gonna say girl, what about you?" He asked.
"I'm gonna say boy, I don't know why but I feel like it's gonna be a boy." I said.
"I guess time will tell." He smirked.
We ate while we were driving the rest of the way to the doctors office, and once we got there I'd gotten Morgan out the back while Axel got her diaper bag.
I signed in and the we went and sat in the waiting room.
Shortly after I heard my name being called so we headed to the back.
"How are you guys today? Excited to find out the gender?" The nurse asked.
"We're good, and we're very excited to find out. We were pretty bummed when we came in a couple weeks ago and they couldn't tell for sure." I said to her.
"I know that's the worst, but I'm sure they'll be able to tell for sure today. You're further along so that should help." She said and I nodded my head.
She took my vitals and told me the doctor would be in shortly.
"I'm so nervous." I said looking over at Axel who was holding Morgan.
"Why? We've done it before." He chuckled.
"I don't know, I just am." I said shrugging my shoulders.
There was a knock and then my doctor walked in.
"How are we today?" He asked as he sat down.
"We're good, excited to find out the gender." I said and he smiled.
"I bet so, but of course before the ultrasound I just want to go over any changes that may have come up." He said and I nodded my head.
"Any excessive swelling?" He asked.
"No now yet, I think the only thing that has is my lips. But nothing like how it was when I was pregnant with Morgan." I told and he nodded his head.
"That's great, that's what I want to hear. Um has baby gotten more active?" He asked.
"Yeah their kicks have gotten stronger, Axel has actually been able to feel some of them." I said.
"Okay good, so everything's been going good then?" He asked.
"Yep, I feel like my nausea and throwing up is finally starting to subside." I said and he nodded his head.
