9: dinner

Jungkook had led Taehyung back to the pack. The boy was glad to be back here, feeling safer immediately. He released a relived sigh while he followed the Alpha all the was into the pack house.

But as soon they were inside and the door closed Jungkook turned around, his eyes sharp almost glaring at the smaller boy that followed him.

"dont talk to him" he hissed at the 'beta'.

"h-huh why?" taehyung asked trying very hard to not submit to the Alpha.

"he is a dangerous person, dont believe his lies."

"what did he do?" taehyung wanted to know what kyun did to make Jungkook dislike him like that. Yes taehyung got it that he wasnt a good person..But why?

"nothing of your concern"

"i want to know why.."

"NO" jungkook said his alpha voice came out and Taehyung let out a whimper he leaned against the wall for support. jungkooks alpha voice voice was strong.

The Raven stared at taehyung who was doing his best to regain his posture. Avoiding any kind of eye contact.

The Alpha took a deep breath and straightened his shirt looking around him. "just avoid him okay" his voice sounded softer than just now. And with that jungkook walked away.

Taehyung watched him leave this time he didnt even think of calling him back. He didnt want to because he didnt know if he just ruined his act or that Jungkook was really mad.

"oh, you're back!" it was Hoseok. Taehyung turned around and smiled at the other.

"yea"

"Jungkook got worried when you left" Hoseok said and chuckled.

"really?" taehyung didnt expect that. He didnt know why the alpha would even care. Because he couldnt show his true self. He couldnt get close to him as a mate. And besides Jungkook was cold.

"yea, he asked where you was so i said you went to the lake. And after that he ran off"

"oh...."

"well im going to start making some food for us" Hoseok said and shrugged a bit.

"can i help?"

"sure"

The two worked on a nice good meal for everyone.

"can you call Jimin for me? I will get Namjoon and Jin"

"okay!" taehyung immediately did as asked and walked out of the packhouse. He liked how kind the others here were. He felt safe here. He didnt feel afraid of these Alphas.

"Jimin!" taehyung called for the other Omega when he neared the house. Jimin was already outside talking to Jungkook.

When he spoke jimin and Jungkooks head turned to him. Jimin smiled meanwhile Jungkook had this intense stare.

"whats up?" jimin said once taehyung was nearby.

"i came to get you for dinner"

"ah okay, i will come"

"are you coming to eat too?" taehyung asked jungkook. But the raven didnt respond he just mumbled something before walking away.

"lets go, he is just being stupid" Jimin said. But when jungkook would be still there he wouldnt dare to speak like that. Jungkook was unexpected and easily annoyed by someone.

"okay.." Taehyung sighed Jungkook needed to eat too. He havent seen Jungkook eat a lot since he was here.

Everyone was gathered around the large table. They were enjoying the food. There was nothing left. Well almost nothing.
Taehyung was waiting for Jungkook. Watching all the foor being devided for everyone.

"shouldnt you eat?" Namjoon asked taehyung.

"i will, i got distracted sorry" Taehyung said and poked his food taking one bite. He was hungry but he couldnt make himself eat this knowing someone havent eaten anything yet.

So when no one was wathing him he stood up and left the room. He knew where Jungkook was. He didnt know how but he did. Because right now he stood in front of the door of jungkooks work room.

He knocked softly.

"why are you here Taehyung?" Jungkooks voice was heard from close against the door. The raven must be standing right behind it.

"you need to eat.."

".." no response

"i brought you some" Taehyung said and looked at the plate with meat, rice, cauliflower and a sweet sauce.

It took a few seconds for the door to be opened. Jungkook looked at taehyung before he looked down at the plate. But he didnt take it.

"here" taehyung held it forward hoping the Alpha would grab it.

"you eat it"

"no i already ate"

"lies" Jungkook said.

"please eat, its good for you"

"says the one that didn't eat lunch. " jungkook scoffed. "take the food back and eat"

"but-"

Jungkook sighed and grabbed the fork stabbing it into a piece of meat. He pressed it against taehyungs lips making him eat it. "i said eat"

Taehyung looked away while chewing the nice meat, hiding a blush.

"you need it, your leg needs to heal properly" jungkook said his vice was softer. And with that he closed the door again.

Taehyung sighed, he didnt get jungkook to eat. He sat down and started eating it like the Alpha said.

Halfway finishing the plate he put the fork down and stood up. He didnt knock this time but just walked inside. Jungkook looked up with a annoted frown but didnt say anything. He watched how Taehyung placed the plate that was halfway eaten.

"eat something Jungkook" Taehyung said. His confidence was fading when jungkook didnt respond but just stared at him.

"did you eat?" jungkook asked.

"i did, i saved this"

Jungkook didnt say anything else but finally grabbed the plate and started eating.
