The Special Meaning

RISE AND SHINE, SLEEPING BEAUTY

Morning sun casted through the thin curtains and illuminated with light two characters intertwined in bed. The blond one squinted his eyes into the light when he finally drifted into consciousness. But the dark haired man snuffled against the bare skin of his chest and showed no signs of waking up.

"Team... Wake up!" Win crooned to the ma, who only groaned and burrowed deeper against his chest.

"TEEEEAAAAMMMMM!" A loud yell made Team's eyes pop open and his jet black eyes stared accusingly at the person causing of the sound, as he propped himself onto his elbows.

"Hia... You know I hate it when you do that" He frowned and ran his fingers through his unruly hair.

Team's hair was wild this morning, most probably because Win had tangled his fingers more than once around those locks during the passionate night. Win had always loved the texture of the younger man's hair, how it felt so coarse and thick against his touch. So different than his own, which felt much softer because of the bleaching. A grin stretched across his mouth as his eyes traced Team's face. Without prior warning he rolled the younger man over onto his back and before Team had a chance to object, he cut off the flow of words with a heated kiss.

"Rise and shine, Sleeping Beauty. We have important things to do today." Laughing Win untangled himself from the man who just stared with dazed eyes at him and stood up.

Mumbling resentfully, Team dropped his head back on a fluffy pillow covered with a brown pillowcase.

"You are such a mean person... the meanest..."

"And you're insatiable... Like you didn't get enough last n..." The pillow thrown against his face effectively cut off his sentence.

"Fuck you Hia!" Team looked up at him with fierce eyes and his cheeks very red.

It always amazed him that the younger man had never lost his ability to blush even after all these years they had been together. Love he felt towards the man filled Win's heart. It was still hard for him to believe that Team had been waiting for him for two endless years and had surprised the blond man completely by proposing him on their first anniversary after his return to Thailand.

"And I know that today we should go looking for wedding rings. I really don't forget such things." The dark haired man complained as he got out of bed and took the pillow from Win's hands, putting it back in its place on the bed.

After a quick shower, getting dressed, and breakfast, they were ready to begin their search. Stepping out the door towards the car, dangling the keys in his hand, Win laughed as he noticed them again wearing almost matching outfit. The younger man was wearing a white button up shirt and black jeans while Win's white shirt was paired with black suit pants.

"Hia, what are you laughing at?" Team casted a confused look on him.

"Nothing. Let's just go."

After the third jewelry shop they had to admit their defeat. They had thought that it would be easy to find, the rings... their wedding rings. Well, how difficult it would be, just find the perfect rings which would hold the special meaning for both of them. They didn't have many requirements for it but specially Team had strongly declared that he wouldn't accept just anything.
