Maya was crouching beside her bed. Lost in thought. Suddenly, she heard a voice. It sounded just like her, but oddly distorted and fragmented at ends. "Aren't you tired of being left out?", "Aren't you sick of Jason, knowing you loved him, but he got married to your sister instead?!", "Don't you want revenge?!" The voice echoed. A wave of anger struck Maya, like whatever that thing was saying triggered memories from her past. "Yes, I'm sick of them. Especially Jason!" Maya screamed.
"Good, Good. I'm glad you feel the same way I do" the voice said. "what do you suggest we do?'' Maya asked. "Kidnap their daughter, It's a surefire way to get them to bow down and apologize. You might even get Jason to become your boyfriend!" the voice answered, cackling. "We'll start tomorrow." Maya felt a wave of guilt trickle down her spine, but despite that. It felt like the right thing to do, for now.
A breath of warm fresh air flooded Maya's nostrils as she proceeded to open her eyes the next morning. "Are you sure you want to do this?" a seemingly familiar voice asked. "Yes, It's finally time to put them in their place. After all these years of suffering!" Maya replied, somewhat confidently, yet still withholding feelings of guilt and uncertainty. The voice backed down, leaving Maya to her own thoughts once more.
