Diane is a grade 11 student and a top 6 from their school. She have a authoritarian mother where she must always meet her mother's goals and satisfaction for her to make her "proud". Her mother also wont listen to her explanations and thinks her opinion is always wrong.
"Diane, didn't I tell you to wash your sister's clothes?" Diane's mother screamed, barging in her room in frustration.
"Mom, I'm sorry I forgot because I'm still study-" her mother's palm landed on her right cheeks, making her stop explaining. Then she looks at the floor, gripping her cheeks to withstand the pain as her tears run out of her right cheek.
"I don't care Diane, I worked 7 hours straight from the office, but you're just here in the house doing nothing and you can't even wash your sister's clothes"
"Mom, it's because I'm still-" she explained to her side, but her mother still didn't listen to her.
"Studying? You can't even go to the top five. Look at your sister, she's in college now, but she's still able to keep her scholarship going. Why don't you just be like your sister?" her mother replied, furiously walking out of her house.
"I promise that I will make you proud of me one day"
A day later, Diane walks on the side of the streets after taking her exam and is about to go home, but she's noticed an unfamiliar shop that she's guessing it's new since she's never seen it before. She stopped walking and walked inside the newly opened store. She keeps a close eye on the surroundings of the shop, trying to guess what kind of things they're really selling because there are a lot of things on display like bottles of water, pencil, car toys, and a computer.
Hey, welcome to my gift shop. What can I get for you?" Diane immediately flinched and turned her head in the direction of the voice. She saw a man from nowhere wearing a frightening broken bunny mask that could only see his left corner of the lip. She feels goose bumps all over her body as she goes back a bit.
Suddenly the man chuckled and said, "Don't be afraid, I don't bite"
Diane also looked suspiciously at the man standing in front of the table and asked, "What kind of gift shop is this?"
"It's a gift shop you can send, but it's from someone you don't want," he responded, laughing.
"Pardon?" she said, as if she had not heard what he had said. "There's a different kind of gifts that I offer, first is erida. This kind of level will make the person you hate can be surprised and afraid. Second level, Athena, your enemy can get hurt at this level.
And the last level is hel, it can make the person you hate die . So, which one would you choose? "He explained that he was a smile forming on his lips."I 'm sorry, but I'm not interested," she replied, turning around to leave, but stopping the man talking, "doesn't you want to be part of your family? "She turned around slowly and looked at the man wearing a bunny mask. She knew that this man was something else, that he knew about her, that he could read her emotions and her mind.
"You won't come here because you have some hate hidden in your bones," he said.
"I don't have any money," she replied.
"Don't worry, your life 's going to be a substitute, your life's going to be deducted on the basis of what kind of levels you're going to get," he answered.
"Alright, I want to get the erida then" she said completely.
Then he opens the drawer from his desk and
Grab the ball and the notebook. He mentioned Diane 's order and asked while concentrating on writing "how many and what's the name?""5, I want them to die tomorrow." Abruptly he stopped and looked at her smirking. "As you wish, Madam"
Diane arrived at school the next day to take the test. She took her pencil and ballpen and put her bag outside because this is the rules of the school test. Then she went into her classroom and glared in frustration at the top five students in their class and went to her allocated seat. "Okay class ready or not, we'll start the test. Please keep the books and notes away from your table or else you won't receive your exam paper" said the teacher while holding the test papers. She already gives the test papers per row, and the students are expected to respond to the test papers.
After a while of zean tarroza, the top 1 student suddenly started coughing blood on his test paper. The whole class had been interrupted and started to worry about him, but Diane was only staring at him as she smirked.
The top four of them, Shiania tuberos, suddenly fainted from her seat to the floor, causing her to hit her head and blood to spread. Miss Jane is flipping out. She didn't know what to do, and she don't know who's going to help. "Claire, call Miss Nurse, now!" she screamed as she hold the head of Shainia.
Then Maine Gonzalez, the top three in their classroom, began crying. "Ouch, my eyes!" crisscrossed the pen she uses to burst the ink on her face and eyes. Make her scream out of burning and itching. Her group of friends, seeking to support her.
Then the sudden bang was heard to silence all the students and the teacher. After a second, Chanel yells at the head of the top two student, also known as Gab quinto bleeding and crack head, after being struck by the ceiling electric fan.
When Claire and the nurse arrived, they were both surprised by what they saw. Suddenly, Sacha Pineda, the top five, cries loudly about her intense stomach pain in the juice she had a drink before taking the exam. The space is full of sounds that made all the students on the 5th floor of the building avoid taking the exam and taking a look at our classroom, which is a complete mess. While Diane is still answering the test paper, she's not carrying the incident that's going on.
After a few weeks later, the school announced that the top five students had already died. Their cause of death was considered an accident by the police, but many people, including their parents, still thinks it's a murder.
The School Achievers Program
The Pov of Dianne"I present to you the top 1 of grade 11, Diane iya Guerrero!" the school principal proclaimed as I walked to the red carpet on my way to the stage, while everyone around me clapped and cheered. Then I carefully took the certificate and looked directly at my mother's poker face, then whispered to myself, "I hope you're proud of me now."
