"i hope quarantine ends soon, i cant wait to see haley, claire, and hamzah." y/n smiles sadly, thinking of the fact that she hadn't seen her best friends since march.
"we'll see them soon sunshine." chase reassured her, squeezing her hand with a smile as they walked. she looked up at him with the same smile he had and pecked his cheek.
"i'm glad we ended up getting quarantined together, it's great!" the two laughed, thinking of the new memories they shared while being stuck at home.
y/n had been visiting chase by the time quarantine was announced. there were no flights back to her home, considering they'd gotten canceled- so she ended up staying with chase and his family. his parents were sweet about it and agreed to let her stay till she was able to travel back. it'd been a while already, but they didn't mind.
their laughter died down after a bit and they walked in silence for a while till chase spoke up.
"i'm sorry we have to do this everyday, i hope you don't mind." he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.
"do what? walking in the forest?" y/n furrowed her brows in confusion as to what he was referring to.
"yeah, i know it's not that fun." he coughed awkwardly.
"chase, i don't care. i enjoy these walks with you! don't worry about it." she smiled reassuringly at him.
"now, to the lair!" chase laughed an exaggerated laugh.
"wait up!"

if you don't know, chase has explained why he's always in the woods one time. i don't remember it well but it does have something to do with his adhd i think? i'm not sure but yeah :)
