Amara's Rogues

Chapter 3

In a small motel room, Perci began to wake up and saw that she was on a bed, in a motel room with two older men and a late teens boy near her. She gasped and quickly crawled to the headboard, alerting the other three in the room.

Sam put his hands up and said, "It's okay. We're not going to do anything to you, alright?"

Preci scoffed and replied, "Yeah, that's what abductors usually say before they try to assault someone."

Jack was just confused, as Sam still tried to convince her that they were okay. She put her hands up, to push them back, but then saw as a translucent pink forcefield appeared and kept growing, until it pushed the three against the wall, then disappeared.

She just looked at her hands, as Sam said, "Wow, that was unexpected."

Dean put a hand up and said, "Amara's right, she really can make force fields."

Perci just looked at Dean, with fear in her eyes, as he continued to say, "Okay miss. I know that this is shocking for you, but you need to listen. You have a power that can help people and we can help you control it and your shifting."

She just gave him a confused look, but she just put down her hands. Dean calmly walked over to her and began to give her the talk about monsters. Perci was shocked at first, but she slowly began to accept everything.

"Okay, that will take a while to get used to, but what does this have to do with me?" She asked, rubbing her neck.

Dean replied, "Okay, so a woman named Amara created seven powers that can rival that of an archangel. You have the power she made of the fox, where you can heal anything and create a shield and force fields that can stand up to anything."

A shaky breath left her lips, as she then saw a vision of a fox, in the woods. The three guys then saw, as Perci changed into a red fox, without screaming in pain. She didn't even notice it, until she saw as the guys were taller than her. She looked down at her hands or paws and saw paws in their place. She began to scurry around the bed, as everyone was just confused.

But when she began to calm down, she shifted back into her human form, on her hands and knees. She just looked at her hands again, Dean carefully got closer to her.

"Okay, so Amara didn't tell me you guys can shift into animals, but that's still cool. Look, I know that this can be jarring, but trust me, these powers chose you for a reason and I think that reason is because you have a good heart." Dean said.

She just looked at him, in confusion, as he continued to say, "Amara told me that the fox is like the mother of the group. She cares for those that influence her life and wants everyone to feel safe and happy. The fox is known for being a good mother, so why wouldn't it choose someone who helps those in need?"

Perci looked at him and said, "Okay, it just is going to take some getting use to, having these powers and a threat I don't know how I'm going to stop."

Sam chuckled and said, sitting on the edge of the bed, "You won't be alone. There are five other girls like you, but they have different abilities."

She smirked and then everyone saw as Dean was holding his head, in pain. Perci was about to touch him, until they saw as Dean scrambled over to the table. Jack went on the other side of the bed, looking like he was between Perci and Sam, seeing Dean look for something.

"Did this happen the last time Dean had the mark?" Jack asked. Sam replied, "No, this is new."

The three then watched as Dean took a piece of paper and began to scribble something down on it. He was writing so hard that the ink began to cover his hand. His eyes were like he was in a daze or very frantic. The three were scared, but then saw Dean begin to calm down and put down the pen, as his breathing slowed down. He almost fell on the floor, until Perci moved her hands and a translucent pink disk appeared under Dean and calmly set him on the other bed, before disappearing.

Everyone awake was quite impressed, until Dean shot up, gasping for breath. Sam rushed over to Dean, calming him down, as Jack went over to the table, looking at the paper that Dean wrote.

"What happened? I blacked out there for a second." Dean asked, rubbing his head and face.

Sam replied, "Dean, you were talking to Perci and then you just began to go over to the table and write something down."

Dean was about to say something, but winced, as he felt something come from the Mark of Cain. Visions began to plague him again, as he curled his right hand to a fist and his left hand held the mark. Sam was starting to get worried, but saw as Perci made her way over to Dean. She closed her eyes and focused, letting a pink light cover her hand, as she put it on Dean's shoulder. The pink energy flowed through his veins, to the mark, as Dean winced a little bit.

After a second or two, the murderous thoughts and visions were erased from Dean's mind, as the mark stopped hurting. Perci pulled her hand away and the Winchester boy was just surprised.

"Wow, I guess I really can heal any wound. That will come in handy." Perci said, putting a hand on her waist.

Jack then walked over to the group, asking everyone, "Guys, is there a town called Lyni by any chance?"

Everyone just looked at him, in confusion. Jack then pulled out the paper Dean scribbled on and saw as Lyni was there, but it was just like the first one, with jagged lines and a rushed feeling. Dean looked down at his hand and saw that just like before, his hands were covered in residue from the pen.

Meanwhile, Sam just looked at the sign and just bit the inside of his cheek, worrying over something that can change everything.

In Lyni, at night, a seventeen year old girl was in the shower, just humming away. She was just scrubbing around her body, not seeing as a black lizard tattoo was on her upper arm, that quickly glew green. But, the mark went away as soon as the water rinsed off the body wash.

Okay, so the song is kind of like the anthem for the girls. In fact, it you guys want me to, I'll go ahead and make a playlist of songs representing each girl and moments they have together.
