18- "sunshine"

Sakura POV:
Once we got our drinks we sat down at a table in the back. "So why are you worried about sasuke forgetting about you" I asked naruto. "Well because of school and him going to work now I just don't think he's going to have enough time for me" he sighed. "Listen naruto" I grabbed his hands and held onto them "he's not going to forget about you" I stated. "But how do you know" he cried. "Because he loves you naruto" I stated. He didn't even respond he just stared at me. "Naruto?" I questioned. "Thank you, for everything" he thanked "come on let's go to the park" he added. We both got up and threw away our empty cups. We walked around downtown before heading to the park. Once we got to the park I jumped on his back and surprisingly he caught me. He carried me all the way to the swings before I hoped of and got on one and he followed me. We were swinging side by side just like we were kids. "So you have anyone special yet" he teased. I just rolled my eyes. We got of the swings once some kids arrived and headed over to a bench overlooking a river and sat down.

Sasuke POV:
I was going through paperwork on my desk when there was a knock on my door. "Come in" I said looking up from my paperwork. "Hey sasuke how's it going" kakaishi said. "Why is there so many papers" I sighed setting them down. "You want some help" he asked. "No I got it" I assured. "Alright text me if you need anything" he offered before leaving. I looked over at the paperwork I still had yet to finish and sighed. I grabbed the next paper and got to work.
Time skip to a few hours later:
I still had a lot of papers to do and it was already 6. I grabbed my phone and opened it, I went over to messages.
Sasuke (me): hey sunshine, I'm not going to be home until late I have a ton of paperwork to do sorry.

My Sunshine: Ok just make sure you eat.

He's so sweet I don't deserve him. I thought as I put my phone away. I got back to work trying to finish as fast as possible.

Naruto POV:
"Hey wanna go back to my place and watch a movie" I asked Sakura. "Sure" she said. We walked out of the park and back through town to the car. We both got in and she started driving back to my house. Once we arrived we made some popcorn and grabbed a few blankets. "Alright what Movie do you want to watch" she asked opening Netflix. "Surprise me" I answered getting situated. She picked "The babysitter".
Time skip to after the movie
"That was something" I said in shock. "Yeah it was pretty gory" she replied grabbing the remote. "Oooo there's a second one" she cheered. "Sure why not".
Time skip after that movie
"Nooo why did they kill her" I cried. "I thought she was a good guy" Sakura wept. I checked the time and it was already 10. "You should probably go home I have school tomorrow" I said. "Yeah me too" she added. We both got up and walked over to the door. She put her shoes on and grabbed her keys. "Bye I'll see you later" she said waking out the door. I smiled and waved back. Once the door was closed and locked I sighed and walked to the living room. I picked up the bowls and put them in the kitchen before going back to the living room to fold the blankets. Once all the blankets were folded and put away I went back to the kitchen to clean the bowls. Once that was done it's was 11, so I went to my room. I changed out of my clothes and grabbed a pair of boxers and one of sasukes sweatshirts. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Once I was done I walked back into the main room and climbed into bed. I rolled over onto my side to sleep but I couldn't get comfortable. I rolled around a few more times before I ended up in a semi comfortable spot and fell asleep.

Sasuke POV:
I was finally done with work and it was midnight. I walked out of my office to a completely dark Building. I went to and elevator and pushed the button. Once it arrived I got in and went to the main floor. I walked to the garage and get in my car and headed home. The whole ride home the only thing on my mind was naruto and why he was doing right now. Once I got home I tried not to make a lot of noise because he might be sleeping. I didn't see him anywhere in the house so I assumed he was in bed. I opened our door as quietly as possible and grabbed a chance of clothes then headed to the bathroom. I changed in the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I opened the door and the light from the bathroom was just enough to see him in bed curled up in one of my sweatshirts. I turned off the lights and headed to bed. I laid down beside him and wrapped my arms around him. He made a little noise and leaned into me. I kissed his neck and said goodnight before falling asleep myself.

Remember how I said this chapter was going to be longer, yeah it was almost 1000 words.
