"Ouch!"Ella screamed. "Shadow pulled my hair."Ella told her mom. "Mom can I go to the park." Asked shadow. "Then take Ella with you." Replied their mom. "Why can't I go alone Ella is 11 and I am 13 years old." Shadow told his mother. "No you are taking Ella if you want to go and that is final." Their mom said.
5 minutes later they left for the park.
When they got to the park they saw a coyote. The coyote chased then out of the neighborhood. "Ella where are we"? Asked shadow. "I'm scared shadow!" Said Ella." How did we end up in the woods?" Asked Ella. "I know this woods." Said shadow. Shadow tried to lead them back home. But, they ended up in a different neighborhood. "I know this neighborhood."Ella said. "I think our grandma live in this neighborhood." Ella figure out.
"It looks like it is going to rain." Shadow said. "Ya." Said Ella. "Look, the clouds are getting darker." Shadow said. "It is drizzling." Shadow said. "No duh." Replied shadow. "When do you think it will start raining?" Asked shadow. "Like now." Replied Ella. It started to drizzle. "We have to find grandma's house." Said Ella. It began to pour.
"It is one of these 3 houses." Said shadow. They knock on the first house and they heard big mean dogs barking. They a tall scary dude came to the door. He said in a deep voice "hello." "Sorry wrong house." Said Ella.
Lets try the next house. A nice little old woman came to the door. She said in a sweet little voice "hello how may I help you." "Are you our grandma?" asked Ella. "Well what are your names?" Ask the little woman. "My name is shadow and this is Ella." Replied shadow. "Then yes I am your grandmother." Said their grandma.
"Come in come in. You guys must be hungry and wet." Said their grandma. "Yes, we are." Said shadow. "Well would you like some cookies and a hot coco." Asked their grandmother. "Here you go." Said their grandmother. "Thank you so much." Replied Ella. "Do you guys want to call your mom." Asked their grandma. "Ya." Replied shadow. Their grandma handed them the the phone. "Hi mom we are your mom's house can you pick us up." Ella told their mom. "Ok I will come pick you guys up." Their mom told Ella. "Give me 5 minutes." Said their mom. "Bye mommy." Said Ella.
5 minutes later their mom rang the door bell.
"Hi mother." Said Ella and shadow's mom. "Hi honey." Said their grandma. "Mommy." Said shadow and Ella. "I am so glad you are guys are ok." Said their mom. "I started to worry and I just thought you lost track if time." Said Ella. "No we got chased by a coyote." Said shadow. "Ok let's go home." Said their mom. "Thank you grandma." Said Ella and shadow. "Bye mom." Said their mom.
