Chapter 4

When Brandon and Ritchie left to tell the rest of the council about Bryan. Bryan asked why Kit was mad at Ritchie, why she looked like she hadn't slept in days and crying. 
"How could you tell I was mad at him?" Kit asked.
"It's in the way you look at him, you look at him in the same way I used to look at our world's Mario"replied Bryan.

Kit explained through tears how Brandon went missing, durning that Ritchie was too drunk he could barely understand what's going on and one day they tried to fight and durning the fight he killed her best friend.
"Whoa even more reason to hate my stepbrothers, but hey you have to respect each others history, you may think you've been through a lot but someone else out there has been through more"said Bryan with a little bit of charmspeak in his voice.

Kit began to calm down after being affected by Bryan's charmspeak. Mario smelt a bit of magic coming off Bryan when he spoke but thought he was imaging it. A few moments later Brandon and Ritchie walked back into the room.
"The Protectors said that they would come by later to speak with same with… Allumos amd Viper"said Ritchie.

Bryan asked why he sounded so displeasured saying Allumos and Viper's names. They explained all what happened a few days ago. Bryan just frowned and nodded. Brandon and Ritchie began to tell Bryan what happened to them in the past years. Bryan wasn't sure with what to think about how his brothers used to be criminals but he was glad that they're doing fine now.
