𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐓𝐎 𝐌𝐄. ❞𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐈𝐓 𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐓 as if time had transfigured itself into solid stone, frozen and never changing, five years had passed since the death of Arthur Pendragon—the greatest king the shining kingdom of Camelot had ever seen—at the hand of the Druid prophesied to steal him away, and Queen Guinevere was left to rule the whole of Camelot alone as his hand chosen successor; it was his dying wish, Merlin had said, for the one he trusted most to ascend the throne in his place. Though she wore the heavy crown of gold, though she smiled in a radiance that not even the sun could ever compare to, Queen Guinevere's very existence had bled into the fragility of glass, and some days it seemed she would shatter under the weight of her grief and the royal court's unending pressures of marriage anew.
𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐎𝐅 Morgana Pendragon erased at the hands of the esteemed Merlin Ambrosius, another had risen from the shadows to take her place—a terrible sorcerer named Jafar, whose hatred for Camelot cosmically surpassed his predecessors' in spades. Though it was thought to be something akin to a fairytale—a legend, of sorts—Jafar searched far and wide for the fated "Diamond in the Rough," who is said to be one pure of heart and enough so to cross the threshold of the Cave of Wonders. Within such a sacred place of treasure and glory, the diamond would have the power to retrieve the magic lamp which, through his own corruption, Jafar could so easily use to bring the kingdom to its knees. To erase it for all time, and avenge the slaughter of endless sorcerers whose blood stained the earth.
𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 heart is a rare thing indeed, but such a person existed among men, dwelling within the streets of Camelot's lower town. That diamond in the rough was an orphan boy named Aladdin, a thief forged from the instinct of survival, and to many, he was nothing but one among the many street rats which plagued the city. Aladdin believed otherwise; for he had always thought there was more to him, that he was meant for something more. He would soon learn just how right he had been, finding himself way in over his head as he unintentionally aids in the possibility of Camelot's destruction.
