The war between the village and a large city had begun, and the family was horrified. They lived in a bomb shelter for the rest of the war, but the child had wandered off during nightfall, causing the couple to worry greatly. The baker went out to search, and his wife demanded to come as well. At the end of their search they came to a grave discovery. Their child had been shot. The bakers wife had been so shocked that she backed up slowly, and was shot in the neck.
