~~The next morning: day 4~~
[Your POV]
"It's the fourth day already. Crazy how fast time flies sometimes isn't it? Kiyoko, Yachi." I said as I stretched. "The boys are so nice. They've helped me understand a lot more about volleyball and each of their teams, though I'm sure I could've just asked you and you would've helped me." I chuckled.

"I'm glad to hear you're getting along with everyone. Just imagine the joy I feel getting to watch them grow individually and as a team!" Kiyoko smiled.

"Must be nice. Hey maybe I'll petition to get a volleyball team at my school! I'm sure my dad would love to see that I'm invested into something as much as he is."

"That might be a great idea—if you ever see your school again."

"I'm sorry what was that?"

"Oh it's nothing." Shimizu smiled. "Let's hurry and get down to the gym. C'mon Yachi, it's time to wake up."

"Sooooo tireddd." Yachi grumbled.

"You'll be fine once you get up and at em'" Kiyoko assured.

We made our way downstairs amd everyone in the gym was gathered on the floor, the managers standing up against the wall. We aligned ourselves with them and awaited for Coach Ukai to speak.

Dear Coaches and participants,

I will not be here for the remainder of the training camp. Due to some personal family issues, I was urged to take off early in the middle of the night, so I apologize for my leaving abruptly. Don't let this sudden news get you down. I expect you to continue to do your best for these last few days and push yourselves so that you can reach further excellence.

Signed, Nekomata

"According to this note, we won't be seeing much of nekomata, but me and the rest of the coaches here will try our best to make sure things run smoothly." Coach Ukai said. "Of course, it will take us a minute to adjust, so for the remainder of the day, you can take some time off and relax. That is all, you are dismissed."

"Really? That's all?" I asked to Kiyoko and Yachi.

"I guess. That's a bummer." Yachi frowned.

"Well, how about a girls day! We can talk, do our hair and nails, you know, usual girls day activities." I suggested.

"Sure, that sounds like fun." Kiyoko smiled and grabbed my hands. "Let's head back to the room."

"Okay I'll meet you two up there. I just wanna grab something." I said.

"Oh, what do you need?" Kiyoko asked.

"It's a surprise. For our girls day." I said facing away from them and walking away. I saw them turn around and I did the same, but ended up bumping into something...or rather someone. I looked up and my eyes fell on Oikawa. "Ah, I-I'm sorry." I apologized. My voice was shaky. Did he really have this much of an effect on me?

"No worries!" He smiled. It was so bright, like I could see the sparkle in his teeth. And his eyes, you couldn't help but be drawn to them. "Oh, I don't think we've actually talked the whole time we've been here. I'm Oikawa nice to meet you."

"I'm (y/n). I've heard so much about you." I said referring to the hours of tapes and pages of data recorded by Kiyoko.

"I've heard so much about you as well. You know, me and tobio-chan go wayyyy back." He winked, sticking his tongue out.
