So the past few weeks have not gone at all as I intended. I have not had much time for reading at all and when I did, I chose to hide in familiar comfort reads. Supporting good stories and writers is absolutely the main focus of this profile and you will start to see tags from me in our current book picks again.
As this profile is very new, we are still creating our group persona. I would appreciate feedback on a couple of ideas, would also love for you guys to suggest events, parties, chat topics, whatever. You are welcome to submit them privately or in a comment.
1. Author of the Month: Many of our favorite writers are quite prolific. Do you think it would be better to highlight an author once a month, rather than each of their works individually?
2. Crew Captains: How do you feel about taking charge of the comment party on a book that you have suggested? I would confirm with each member before adding that book to the monthly list and will make the tag list available for easy commenting. I really hope to grow this profile as a community and think this might help.
3. Holiday Fun: As a citizen of the US, the next few months are full of holidays. Planning for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas events is not very inclusive but I honestly don't have time to research or the knowledge to appropriately arrange stuff for other traditions. I would love to learn and celebrate with you though. Please if you would like to share some holiday fun with us, let me know and I will give you a page and all credit in the chatter Book
4. Multiple Admins: All of the above leads me to a logical possibility. Adding additional admins. At this time, we are a small tightknit crew but as we grow, we may need extra big boss hands. If you are interested or have an opinion one way or another, let's discuss.
