"Do you think Aiden changed his mind?"

Seth's question was the same as mine. I don't know what happened but Aiden didn't talked about it earlier and all I know was that I can't meddle with his order as the Alpha. We agreed on that point already so I'm not sure what's happening right now.

But why was Titus thanking me if he hadn't receive a great news? Which I can think none other than his position gave back to him.

"Can you call him again?" I asked Seth and sat on a chair beside where he was seated. He nodded then shifted to pick his phone in his pocket and dialed a number. I can sense his breathing stopped when the first ring was heard.

"It's ringing." he said and handed me the phone. I took it quickly and put it on my ears. I was not sure what I would say but it's clear that I want information from him. My hand was slightly trembling as I wait for him to answer.

A few rings and Titus picked up the call.

"Hey again."

"Titus, it's me." I said in almost a whisper. I was afraid Aurea can hear our conversation and I needed to be careful with my words.

"Luna." he greeted, acknowledging me at last as his Alpha's mate. I felt a warm hand caress my heart from the regard. It's what being an Alpha's mate is. Everything about the pack starts to embrace me and I always feel glad and warm from it.

"Yes. Uh, what happened? Seth was saying something." I regret the words that I said. I should have pretended I am involve with the news even though I was confused what part was it.

I put my palm on my head and rubbed on my hair. Damn. I should clear my head or else I'll blow things up myself.

"Thank you so much, Luna. Beta Nick just told me I can have a few more months to keep my position. I knew you can convince Alpha Aiden and really grateful for that."

Seth hissed but also sighed in relief when he heard what Titus said. Me on the other hand was still confused as I absorbed the news from him.

Aiden didn't tell me he considered my suggestion but now that he did, I was happy. I am pleased that he let my words through to his rough barriers though I don't know what pushed him to change his mind.

I sighed silently and smiled at Seth who grins at me as well. Finally, we can breathe fresh air without worrying about what to happen next. I can feel the relief that embraced us both at the moment.

"Oh, you're talking about that. I'm glad I could help." I pretended I forgot about our deal, trying to hide the fact that I was clueless about any of Aiden's plans. It would be awful for a Luna to be unaware of pack happenings though I was okay with it. If Aiden didn't want me in, I won't push myself deeper.

Seth smirked with how I handled my first mistake. I felt light, like a stack of brick was taken off my chest. I wanted to call Aiden and thank him for changing his mind but that would be absurd because I'm keeping this a secret from him.

"I apologize for everything I said yesterday, my Luna." Titus' voice was sincere and I immediately forgave him in my head. I already did even without an apology from him.

"That doesn't matter anymore, Titus. But I expect you to do your side of the deal."

"Of course! I won't say a word. And if you have questions about your, uh, abnormality, you are welcome to visit anytime."

I saw Seth nodded with his words, he probably have his own set of questions about stealer like I do. I'm actually eager to know more.

"Well, can we come over now?"
