Diana was sitting in her bedroom. She was sitting on her bed. It was six, Diana was waiting and waiting. She was going to find out the babies gender. Steve wasn't home yet, he was at work, working late. Diana knew he wanted a boy but, she was hoping it was a girl, for his sake. The main reason being it was because, Bruce couldn't have girls. She remember him, saying once everyone in his family was a boy.
Diana knew it was mostly just a coincidence but, was hoping it was a girl still. Bruce was educated and, knew it was a coincidence too. Diana didn't really care what her baby was. She just wanted a little baby, that looked like her and...Steve. Diana held the envelope closely.
Her mother told her that when the baby came no one else would matter. Diana already knew the baby was her number one. She thought about it a lot, the little tiny baby inside her. It was hard those she feared those. Diana pulled the top off with, her dagger. The envelope opened revealing the paper inside.
She took it and, read the paper line by line. Diana looked at the gender, it read a girl. Diana heart started beating again. "Thank you" she whispered, to herself. It was a girl, thank the gods. Part of her was upset because, she did want it to be Bruce's. It was going to be a girl those.
Diana was excited about this those. She could finally focused on something good in her pregnancy. Diana didn't care about the gender of her baby but, this did mean those it less of a possibility being Bruce's the father.
Diana looked at it again, it read a girl. She was having a girl, Diana couldn't wait to Steve. He would be so happy too. Diana was rolling on her bed, even those she shouldn't be doing that. She laid on her back know, waiting for Steve to get back. Diana was still at the stage where she was supposed to be showing.
Diana wasn't showing yet those. She still really fit with, abs and all. Diana at the clock it was seven, where is he. He should be here by now. Diana got up and, walked to the living room. She stood there, looking around. Diana picked up her phone from the coffee table, dialed his number.
She waited patiently for him to answer. She waited very patiently, she thought to herself, she tell him when he get home. He didn't answer, this made her very anxious. What was taking her so long. Diana needed him, now like now. She wanted to share this with, him.
She heard a knock on the door. Diana walked over to the door and, opened it, it was Steve. "Steve" Diana said, hugging him right away. He hugged her back, not as hard as she would. "What is it?" Steve asked her, pulling back a little bit. "Come on, I know the gender" Diana said, actually letting him in.
Diana sat him down and, got the letter. She made him read it line by line. She saw his reaction not change at all. This made Diana a little sad, he didn't seem happy or sad. "It's a girl" Diana said, looking at him. "Yeah, I know" Steve said, folding the paper. Diana knew Steve wanted a boy.
Why wasn't he happy, did he not care for the gender of the baby. Was he really this upset. Diana faked a smile, "Are you exited" Diana asked him. "I don't know" He said, looking at her. "What do you mean?" Diana asked again, she really wanted to know. "I just wanted a boy" Steve said.
Diana was very frustrated with, this why couldn't he be happy. "Steve, really" Diana said. "Diana, I can be upset about this" Steve said. "Steve it's a baby it shouldn't matter if it's a boy or girl, you should just love it" Diana said back to him. She hoped he shut up and, understand why he needed to grow up.
Diana put a hand on her stomach, she was thinking about this. Would he love the baby as much as she would. "Diana, I'm still going to love it those" Steve said reassuring her. "Okay" Diana said, kissing his cheek.
Diana walked away. She laid back on her bed, she thought about Steve. She thought about everything and, what does it mean. Why was he that way why couldn't he be happy. It shouldn't matter.
Diana tried not to cry but, a few tears fell out. She hated crying, it's all she ever did. She cried a lot and, hated it. Her hole life she been a crier a little too sensitive. She wished she wasn't those, why am I'm so sensitive, she thought about. Her tears didn't stop. Diana was trying not too, those.
She tried not to cry loud. Her head began to hurt. She always got headaches when she cried too hard, everyone thought it was cute but, Diana didn't. She just laid their, for a while. She felt like she was over reacting a lot. She felt Steve touch her shoulder. "Are you okay" he asked her.
"I'm, fine" Diana said, looking at his ocean blue eyes. "Your so pretty" Steve said to her. "Thank you", she didn't want to here that but, ok. "I love you and, her" he said, warping his hands around her. That actually made Diana a little happy. "I love you" Diana said, back to him.
