Chapter 6: The Picture

Shay's POV

I was enjoying watching Harry, but then I felt like a creep so I decided to look over the pictures I took with the boys. They looked so happy. Liam had his signature puppy smile, while Zayn had his posing face on with a light grin. Harry and Louis had eachothers arms drapped over eachothers shoulders and Niall had his arm around my shoulder. Just looking at that picture made my stomach flutter with butterflies.

I could not help but zoom in on only Niall and I. I mean c'mon wouldn't you? We looked so cute, just thinking about ever having a chance with him was crazy, but hey a girl can dream can't she? I was just starring at the photo like a love sick puppy, and decided to screenshot it, when I felt a face on my shoulder. Wait what? WHO IS ON MY SHOULDER?

"Watcha lookin' at- woah is that-"

I really hoped this wasn't happening, but with my luck, I'm sure you can guess who it was.

"OHHH IS MY SISTER CRUSHING ON NIALL?!?!?" 

yup. you were wrong it wasn't Niall, it was way worse........my brother.

"I can't wait to tell everyone!" Zach proclaimed 

"No! You can't just-" I stated telling him until Niall cuts me off by walking in front of us.

"You guys look suspecious. What are you looking at?" Niall said with amusment shown on his face.

Zack turned to me giving me an evil grin. NO. I shook my head at him letting him know not to. He just smiled at me. Note to self, kill Zack in his sleep, and while I'm at it I'll kill Dylan too. 

"Well you see-" Zack started saying to Niall, but I didn't let him finish because I tackled him.

Next thing you know I was wrestling my brother on the floor while Niall just laughed. You would think he would help me, but I guess not. Mikey and Cam joined in. Mikey on Zack's side and Cam on my side.'

"Mikey you trader! You're always my partner in crime!" I yelled

"Not this time babe. I wanna see the picture!" he yelled back

"What picture?" Niall suddenly asked while trying to hold back his laughter.

I looked around noticing it was only Niall, Mikey, Zack and I in the room. The rest must have gone into the arena to warm up.

"Nothing!" I said quickly while grabbing my phone from my brothers hands and dashing away.

Score 1 for Shay!

"Yea! Team Shay!" Cam yelled running up to catch up with me. Once he did he picked me up and spun me around. I felt Niall starring at us so I told cam to put me down.

"Whatever. Just know I know you're little secret" my brother told me with a wink.

I shuttered at the thought of my brother winking at me. ewww. Cam and Mikey walked ahead along with my brother and I was left to walk with NIall. Oh Boy.

"so are you going to show me the picture now?" Niall asked coming up next to me

"hmmm....lemme see......nope." I said poping the 'P' 

"guess I'm going to have to take it from you" he said snatching my phone.

He held it up high while I was trying to grab it, but it was too tall. Darn my shortness!

"All I need is a password. Don't tell me its my name?" he said in a joking way, but tried it anyway.

It unlocked.

He starred at me with amusment in his eyes, but I couldn't tell what he was thinking. My face turned bright red.

And that's the moment he saw the cropped picture. 

He turned to look at me, and to my surprised he smiled.

"This is super cute" He told me with a genuine smile.

All I did was continue to blush and smiled right back at him.

"Alright lwe better get in there before Liam calls 999 saying that we have gone missing"

Nialls POV

When I saw Shay's picture it kinda gave me hope. I think I might have a wee bit of a crush on her. I mean her smile and her cheecks that had a tint of red in them. What I do wonder though is why she made a big deal over the picture. Well, I know I would, but her, making a big deal over me? That would never happen.

I have to get over this crush. I mean i've known her for like a day, but already she gives me butterflies. It's crazy! This has never happened before! But I know we can never go out. She'd never go for a guy like me, plus she's with Cameron. They seem happy together, and I could never come between two people who are in love. 

I mean the way he looks at her, and treats her. And the way he spun her around. She looked like a princess, and I could never compete with Cameron.

Before I gave Shay back her phone I emailed the picture to myself. Yea I know a bit weird but it was a cute picture, and an even more cute screensaver.
