I took the tablet and I read.

She skipped passing the hedges and stood at the threshold.
They were arguing.
"Mamma..."
"Oh my sweetheart, you're back home. Go upstairs, dinner is ready."
She smiled dryly.
Natalie knew something was wrong.

She was ascending the steps when she heard a scream and a gunshot. She saw it.
Her father was lying on a pool of a red liquid, a gun by his side, and... and...
Her mother was smiling then she broke into tears.
"No...this can't have happened..."
Her lips quivered. Tears welled up in her eyes.
She knew it's the time she left...
